I've seen some old posts about a lower temp fan switch for out bikes. I decided to test out an SV1000 fan switch with a temp of around 208°F (98°C) and turns out it fits the 650 radiator and works flawlessly. I can provide an unaffiliated link in the comments for anyone who wants to get one. I did this because as some of you know, I do food delivery on this bike and in the AZ summer sitting in traffic the original fan switch wouldn't kick on until 217°F which was cooking my legs and battery.

Anything I could improve? (Don't say roundabouts lol)

So lately for work I've been doing a lot of food delivery on my bikes, mainly my XT225 (not pictured). I decided to start delivering on my SV, which is slightly better for navigating traffic but not as comfortable. I also like to take road trips to California from AZ once or twice per year, and neither bike is good at that. I've since decided I will get a V-strom, but I'm debating which model, and if I sell both bikes to get a 1000/newer 650, or just sell the XT225 and get an older 650? What would you guys do? Do you think it's worth keeping the SV for funsies and thug it out on an older/smaller V-strom? I am very familiar with the Suzuki V-twin engine from a mechanical perspective, which is why I decided to go for a Strom over any other sport tourer/adv. Basically my choices are, 2014ish 1000 but sell both of my bikes, or earlier Gen 650, and keep the SV as the fun bike. I could sell both and get one of the newer V-strom 650 XTs, but that would take some time to source. Thoughts? Any help is appreciated 👌🏻
