PSA: My take on Vitamins

Hi folks,

I wanna spread awareness on my journey on deficiencies of Vitamins and It’s effect.

I shifted to a new city in India 3-4 years back. Everything was good but after some months, I use to not have energy to do anything, I use to feel depressed. I thought it was due to new city which will go after sometime as I make new friends and when city will become familiar.

Cut forward to few months later, I did a full body checkup and figured that my Vitamin B12 and D3 are really low.

Doctor put me on these vitamins supplement and two weeks in, I started feeling active, my energy was back, I started feeling positive, no depressive thoughts. Now that I look back I realise that there are lot of people who might be suffering from this and still don’t know what is wrong with them. This is just a wake up call for everyone to just do a full body checkup and get these two vitamins checked.

In India, If you’re working then most likely you are deficient.

If you drink often(even Once a week), you might be deficient as B12 is used up by Alcohol.

Recently I came across magnesium glycinate, my friend recommended me, Game changer. It helped me on good sleep, recovery and most importantly on my anxiety.

Hope this post makes few lives better and they make others live better with this.

Frustrated on NRI Market Investment Regulations

Hi Folks,

I recently moved to dubai.

And I am super frustrated and confused on where to start what to do.

There is no go-to guide sort of thing on what all things I should be taking care of and with all the regulations it is super confusing.

I tried reading blogs, youtube videos, followed this sub and took help from AI. Helped to some extent.

Recently, I am trying to figure out investment in MF in India — Not easy at all.

This makes me wonder why even invest in indian market and only invest in global markets. Which is super easy.

Does government not want NRIs to invest in Indian Market ?

Curious to see what other people feel and went through on this topic. What all tips and tricks you used ?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been staying around PCMC (Wakad/Ravet side) and was just curious about something.

I recently came across Himachali Siddu (steamed, walnuts, peanuts, rice and not maida) and noticed that it’s almost nowhere to be found in Pune. It seems pretty filling and relatively healthy compared to a lot of other options.

Made me wonder — would people here even be interested in trying something like that?

I was also thinking that maybe pairing it with something more familiar like veg momos (paneer/soya/mushroom etc.) could make it easier for people to try.

Before I go too deep into this, just wanted to get a sense from people here:

  • Have you ever tried siddu? Would you order it if you saw it locally?
  • Do you think it’s too niche for Pune/PCMC crowd?
  • Would combining it with momos make sense, or feel random?
  • Any similar food items that didn’t work here (and why)? This would really help

Just trying to understand local taste/preferences before putting time into this.

Appreciate any honest opinions 🙏
