i figured since i hate reading, i listened to the quranic translation of the audio book. granted this was the sunni interpretation of the transferic translation but at the weirdly translated parts, i knew this meant something else.
but regardless of that, it is a beautiful book to listen to.
a few things caught me by surprise tho and its how the quran is basically a story that explains how powerful God really is
alot of previous people, civilisations, powers that all denied god and got punished for it
and ofc there are messages for us, the message of believing in one god, being nice and respectful, signs that came with unknown knowledge and it really got me thinking
the people of today are the same, how many cilivisations came before us and how today we think we are better than all those in the past, but in the end, we are just the same. especially those who think they are above all, shared the same mentality of pharoh thinking they are above all
it really adds to the verse: did we not bring this quran down for you to reflect upon its verses?
hi all i have a dewalt dcs391 circular saw and the blade is done for
saying that i tried to manually relase the hex pin screw that holds it and yes i went the correct way around since its a reverse thread and it just knackered the metal sides so its not openable now at all, even with clamp'/grabbers on the edges
my last resort is to use my angle grinder and remove teh bolt and buy a new one but before i do that, is ther any other options?

Hi all, ive just taken down some old ceiling wallpaper and im a bit stuck on what to do next
There are loads of cracks (this is the bedroom and above is the loft
These cracks have been here for ages. On closer look, there is a thin layer of multi finish (the green stuff which im assuming is the MF thats been stained by glue of ceiling paper) and then plasterboard
I would like to overboard it but that seems like a considerable amount of effort. Could I get away using skrim tape and plastering over that or is the safer bet using PB and then plastering over it?

We are all just starting our journeys and the hard part comes from being a true muslim.
We have a long journey ahead of us, if Allah wills, and we must do more than what we are already doing to become the best of the best
saying that, there are plenty of sunnis that I know that are really great people. they do follow the traditional sunni dialect, and do the islamic things according to their interpretation but the question comes up, is that enough to be forgiven for following what God did not ordain?

the biggest eye sore is that turret and im pretty sure its the materials and lighting setup but maybe ive become blind to any mistakes since ive spent a bit of time on it
