Uhhh, hey.
Honestly, I’m not totally sure why I’m posting on here. I guess I just want to meet people and make friends. I’m also single and open to something eventually, but I believe I need to know someone first before getting to the “mingle” part.

I’m not looking for hookups or FWB or anything like that. If anything does happen, I’m looking for my future boyfriend. I’ll be upfront — I’m asexual, and I don’t want biological kids in the future.

Anyways, a bit about me:
I enjoy playing video games (mainly Overwatch, a bit of Fortnite, and I’ve been wanting to get back into Minecraft with friends), watching anime/TV shows/movies, and reading books (fantasy, sci‑fi, and dystopian are my favorites).

I’m also kind of a nerd — I really like Star Wars, Marvel, and Stargate. I could definitely talk about those for a while if you let me.

I mess around with an Arduino Uno too and make random electronic projects sometimes, and I like card games as well.

I’m Christian, and I’m supportive of LGBTQ+ people. I’m not really interested in debating beliefs or trying to change each other — I’d rather just respect where people are at. If I were to date someone, I would want a Christian guy with similar values.

I’m mainly looking for people around my area. I don’t have many IRL friends and want people around my age (about 23–27) to hang out with on weekends. I don’t smoke or drink, so no bars — just more casual hangouts.

So I’m almost finished reading Percy Jackson and The Heroes of Olympus (about to start the last book 🙌). Next, I was planning to read The Kane Chronicles.

I’ve read all the books so far on my Kindle since that’s just how I prefer to read. When I went to buy the first Kane Chronicles book, though, I noticed it’s $17.99 for the Kindle version… which is significantly more expensive than both the paperback and hardcover.

That felt weird, so I checked the other books I already bought, and yeah—those are showing around $17.99 now too. But I definitely didn’t pay that much. I remember paying about $5.99 each for PJO and around $7.99 each for HOO.

Even the newer books (Chalice of the Gods and Wrath of the Triple Goddess) are only like $9.99–$10.99, so I’m confused why the older ones are so expensive now.

Is this a pricing mistake, or is there some reason for the big price jump? And do these Kindle books ever go on sale? I might just wait if they do 😭

Hey! I was wondering if there are any young adult groups around the Conroe area that meet somewhat regularly. I don’t really have many friends and would love to meet more people.

I’m 25F and work Monday–Friday, so I’m mostly looking for something on Saturdays or Sunday afternoons. I’m into anime, reading (mostly fantasy and sci‑fi), and playing card games, board games, and video games.

I’m not really into bars or drinking—more interested in hobby‑based or chill hangouts.

Are there any groups, clubs, or meetups like that around here?

I’ve got a dually with a Ranch Hand front bumper and keep running into clearance issues. Just wondering if anyone knows of any automatic washes in the Houston area that can accommodate setups like this, or if it’s basically a no‑go everywhere. Thanks!
