Anyone else the GI bill, but also get pell grant?

Usually pell disburses before the school gets paid from the VA, and then I get a refund of the pell. Since the VA has paid the school already, will I still get the pell refunded to me or will they not use it since the VA paid everything already?

29th birthday was yesterday. Considering law school, will finish my BA by May 2028 and I will then be over 30 by the time I would be applying to law school.

Undergrad in criminal justice. Army veteran, so already feel way behind just now going to school and finishing.

Family is telling me to just get a stable office job somewhere, but I don't want a menial job. My thought is that time passes anyway, why not do it?

Do you call the student out privately when you can blatantly tell they are using AI?

In two of my discussions for this session starting Wednesday, it is abundantly clear they are using AI and copy/pasting to their discussion posts. It makes ne not even want to participate, because if I am doing the work and getting the same grade, what's the point?

Example of a discussion post I replied to today began with : "This version is written at a more natural 12th-grade level and sounds less formal while still meeting academic expectations" .....
