Hello, my mechanic replaced the two guibos on a high mileage e91 xdrive (225k miles). Now I’m getting this noise when I stop and turn sharply. And I think increase noise at cruise. You can hear it when the car slows to 20 mph and below.
I also got the car back with “service engine soon” light and is throwing codes for both downstream o2 sensors. Codes: (002C9E) (002C9F).
It’s back at the mechanic getting looked at again, anyone know what’s going on? My thought is the center support bearing immediately failed with the new guibos. No idea why I’m getting oxygen sensor codes though.
Replacing my factory front shocks on my 2021 f350 XLT Tremor. Theres a funky bracket attached to the old shocks. You can see from the pictures, the new shocks bolt directly to the shock mount on the axel. I don’t think the factory shocks could bolt to the factory mount as the original shocks eyelet is slightly larger than the ones being put in that are the right part number. Anyone know if this is some COVID bs or something else? Thanks
Hey guys, I plan to retire in 6 months. Wish me luck. Tehee
Hello, I have a 1996 Taurus 3.0L push rod. Power steering return hose failed and the part is discontinued. Part number is in the photo (F8DZ3A713AD). Red is the hose part stores sell. Blue is the hose we need. Green circle is where a hole rubbed through the steel line. The hose that connects to the inline filter is smaller than the other end.
Currently looking into finding a place to build me one but when I chat with shops over the phone they wanna sell a more industrial/heavy equipment hydraulic line and I don’t think these places can connect two different size hoses together. These hose fit over nipples and use a hose clamp. Zero pressure, this is the rerun line which is under negative pressure. Thanks for any advice.
