I’ve gone through my fair share of Angel’s Share clones, from Khamrah to Sharaf Blend to Royal Blend. They’ve all been good in their own ways, but I eventually moved on from each of them for one reason or another.

Khamrah: Too sweet, and Qahwa is just better.
Sharaf Blend: Also very sweet, and it strays quite a bit from the original DNA.
Royal Blend: Started off incredibly high quality, but over time it developed a medicinal quality that I couldn’t ignore.

So I eventually got rid of all three.

Ironically, the one I never bothered trying was Kismet Angel.

At the time, I associated Maison Alhambra with cheap, low quality fragrances. It was also an early release, and I assumed later fragrances would naturally have better formulas and better execution. So I never thought it was worth investing in.

Fast forward to now.

I was looking to some proper winter fragrances to my collection, as I mostly have freshies, and I wanted something with that beautiful Angel’s Share DNA. After trying an OG decant, I knew I wanted it in my collection.

A close friend of mine suggested me to try Kismet Angel and I also heard Chad Secrets call Kismet Angel the most accurate rendition of the DNA. Since Kismet Angel has been discontinued following legal issues, I ordered a decant of Kismet Magic, its successor, to see what the hype was about.

Then I compared it directly against Angel’s Share.

And honestly, I couldn’t believe it.

Kismet Angel was the clone I should’ve tried all along. I can’t even tell it from the OG on a strip.

Out of all the hyped Angel’s Share alternatives I’ve owned, the one I completely overlooked ended up being the closest to the original. The funny thing is, I dismissed it precisely because I thought it was too old and came from a cheapie house.

Luckily, I found an ad for Kismet Angel by Jatin Bhai the same week I was doing this testing. It was the original, lawsuit-banned version, which deserved all the hype but couldn’t get much attention at the time because it was overshadowed by Khamrah and Sharaf Blend.

Now I have this old, matured, banned/discontinued bottle. Owning something discontinued does feel kind of good, tbh.

Sometimes the underdog really does beat the hype.

Btw, I also got a Tonka Gold Attar from a Shop. It’s a Tonka Boosted Angel’s Share without much booziness. I’m going to use it as base and layer this scent on top of the Attar Oil to Increase the performance.

Got this bottle today and was mesmerised by the bottle quality and after looking at it closely I found the tube is practically invisible. This amazing Optically Invisible Tube is the attention to detail even big brands don’t put efforts in.

It’s a small detail that most people probably wouldn’t notice, but it shows that the brand paid attention to the presentation beyond just the bottle itself.

LV used to have these in Imagination but even they stopped doing it recently.

Talking of the scent, it’s just what u expect for Myself + Most Wanted Parfum to be. Good designer scent, with good longevity but nothing mind blowing going here.

For me, the tube is honestly the most interesting part of the bottle. It’s the kind of detail that 90% of people would probably never even notice.

Btw this got deleted yesterday for the new “Sundays reserved for designer and women scents only” rule. Are we making rules out of thin air now, or is there actually a method to this madness? Is this a fragrance community or a playground to see how many pointless rules people will tolerate? I wasn’t even reviewing this scent I was just happy to share this detail I found in it.

1. Got Gulikit TMR Sticks from Amazon for 1572 each.
2. Got 2400mAh replacement batteries for 1197 each (original batteries were 1560mAh).

Replacing the batteries was fairly easy, all you have to know is how to open and close the controller. It takes 5mins per controller.

Upgrading TMR sticks was a bit hectic as I had to find a soldering technician. Nobody was ready at first but then I opened it myself took it to them and explained the fairly simple task. The guy agreed and took only ₹200 per controller for desoldering and resoldering the sticks and wires.

Desoldering was quite a task, took a long time to get it done. I was worried they’re gonna ruin the PCB but I said duck it and went on with it. Resoldering was quite easy and only took a couple of minutes.

After that I calibrated and tested the whole controller.

Centering the sticks also took some time, even TMR don’t centre that well.

At last I have an upgraded controller that I can use for a long time without problems(I hope).

If you live in Delhi you can also get TMR installed at Ghaffar Market, some shopkeepers have KSilver TMR joysticks. They charge ₹1500 for installing a pair. Do take care to get them installed in front of your eyes as I don't trust Ghaffar guys at all. Also the lack of technical knowledge is astounding as people working on contollers for decades don't even know what TMR means.

They don't have replacement batteries so take them with you if u want it done by them as well.
If you want Gulikits instead of KSilver then take it with you there, they'll take ₹300 to replace them for you.

Their whole business model sounds like a scam to me, to regain privacy u have to give them access to your whole email, we can’t even be sure if any data gets deleted but it’s for sure they collect all ur email data.

Feels like the same lose privacy for convenience kind of deal but here it’s too counter intuitive.

I love how pewds is raising awareness about privacy but i felt he overlooked this part.

I might be too early to say this but it sounds like another one of those scam startups like Honey.

These offers were really good and I decided to expand my library cuz I cancelled my PS+ Subscription, what did you guys get.

Guys they just increased the PS Plus prices “due to market conditions” with global inflation it’s absurd to pay extra even on our games when Fuel and Food are already on the increase, it’s more than ₹2000 increase on the Annual subscription. Complaining online doesn't work, but canceling your auto-renew does. History proves corporations only reverse course when gamers hit their wallets:

Xbox Live Gold (2021): Microsoft tried to double the price of Gold. Mass cancellations hit immediately. Microsoft reversed the decision in exactly 24 hours.

Helldivers 2 (2024): Sony tried to force mandatory PSN accounts on PC players. A massive wave of Steam refunds forced Sony to cancel the update in 48 hours.

D&D Beyond (2023): Hasbro tried to monetize community creators. Mass unsubscriptions literally crashed their servers, forcing them to scrap the policy entirely.

Unity Engine (2023): Unity tried to charge devs per game install. Mass boycotts led to the CEO's resignation and the fee being permanently killed.

They might ignore complaints but they can’t ignore their spreadsheets with lost subscriptions. Lets go to our settings and cancel the Auto-Renew and just play our digital and physical library meanwhile.

This is gonna be pointless if you guys don’t back me up and I personally won’t have a problem paying this but think about all of India paying ₹200 extra to them, that would be Millions every month. Lets show unity when we can, maybe it’s gonna have a positive impact.

Just buy the PS4 version (₹1799) as it’s significantly cheaper and it’s a free upgrade to ps5 version(₹2649 I think), it’s one of the rare moments where buying PS5 version doesn’t make sense at all

My DualSense battery life has gotten really bad lately, so I’m thinking of replacing it with a higher capacity battery, maybe around 4000–5000mAh. Does anyone know where I can get reliable ones from in India?

There are so many battery suppliers in Indian markets that I’m guessing it shouldn’t be too hard to find, but I’d rather hear from someone who’s actually tried it. Any recommendations or info would help.

I’ve already found a place that can swap the sticks to TMR modules, so I’m planning to do both upgrades together if possible.

I think the battery health got ruined because I mostly used it on the charging dock, so it stayed fully charged almost all the time. And honestly, the official Sony dock has been disappointing too, mine broke within 6–7 months despite normal use. This time I’ll probably get the HyperX dock instead since the charging pins seem much sturdier.

Price looks really good for a newly released game and reviews are quite good too. Share ur experiences please
