Looking to make a career switch into Product Marketing and I’d love some advice.

I come from a background in account management, client servicing, operations, strategy and team leadership, with experience working closely with clients, understanding business needs, driving adoption and using data to improve outcomes.

Over the last few months, I’ve been increasingly drawn towards Product Marketing, particularly the intersection of product, customers, positioning and go-to-market.

But I’m at that familiar transition point:

How do you move into PMM when your previous title doesn’t say “Product Marketing Manager”?

For those who have made this transition or hiring managers/PMMs who have hired people from adjacent backgrounds:

• What skills should I build first?

• How can I make my existing experience relevant to PMM?

• Are certifications/courses actually useful, or is hands-on experience more important?

• What kind of projects would help demonstrate PMM capability?

• Should I target Associate PMM, PMM, GTM or adjacent roles to get my foot in the door?

I’d genuinely love to hear what worked for you, what didn’t, and what you would recommend to someone making this switch today.

And if you know of teams that are open to candidates transitioning into Product Marketing, I’d be grateful to hear about those too.

Open to advice, conversations and connections with people in the PMM/GTM space.

They really had famous individuals casted on this show. Image ft., Logan Paul

In India, we had only a chunk of seasons on Netflix and later we had the other chunk released on another streaming platform.

When I finished watching the first bunch and later the other set of seasons, I had zero connection with what was going on.

But now they released the missing seasons. Lol. Makes so much sense now.

  1. Now I know how Benson got Noah.

  2. Why Eliot was missing?

  3. Who is Amaro?

  4. Why do they keep saying, "during your detective days..." to Carisi.

  5. How did Benson straight up become a captain? Last time she was a detective.

  6. Mostly importantly, who was Barba?

Introduction - Sonny Carisi

Season 16 Episode 1

Kinda annoying. Kinda cute. Kinda intelligent. Kinda weird. Kinda cocky.

I like him as a DA.

Where can I get these tops?

Hey all,

Lately I have been obsessed with semi casual fits but the only drawback is I don't know where to find them.

They look so chic yet classy.

Just shared a pic from a movie, JLo wearing that tee.

Looks absolutely cute and casual.

Appreciate you recommendations. 🫶

This guy is still alive?!

First time watching these seasons.

Man, just when I thought he gave enough PTSD to Oliva, he appears again.

Chills!

Maternal Instincts - Did Reagan knew what was Taylor up to?

I just finished watching the documentary. My heart goes out to that little girl who was scared in her room and Reagan's family.

I had one doubt, did Reagan know that Taylor was faking it all the way? Because in the netflix documentary, they don't really touch upon that part.

Here are my thoughts, if I knew someone like Taylor who is faking the pregnancy while I'm in the same situation, I'd definitely cut them off or maintain my distance. Just like Kenzie did, right when Taylor got too "involved".

On the contrary, I think Reagan was a very kind person. She just saw good in ppl and what Taylor did to her is just unforgivable. Tbh, Taylor is nobody to her but she was there for her when Taylor wanted to talk or something (that's what Reagan's mom said).

This story taught me not to trust anyone.

Side note - Wade is just a greedy opportunist individual. When Taylor said that she is with the police or ambulance, I am not quite sure. He says "I'll come be there after I drop these hogs" or something. His tone didn't have concern.

He👏 couldn't👏 care👏any👏 less 👏

I'm scared of Henry!

They've recently dropped the Season 12 to 16 on Netflix.

Man, he is a good actor. But curious, are they real cases like this?

Especially, when kids come from such stable homes and resources.

But the guy who played this role is phenomenal.

 Edit - Season 14 episode 19

Where to donate old clothes?

Hi everyone!

I’m new here.

We have a few clothes we’d like to donate. They’re in good condition overall, they just don’t fit us anymore, and some have minor fading from regular use.

They're clean and reusable.

Would be happy if they could go to someone who can use them.
