What tactics do you all use?

I started off using high pressure as my tactic and ran a few different variations of 4-3-1-2 and 4-4-2 and I am getting absolutely crushed on the counter and my back line is toast. I know the AI defending is quite poor in FC26 but just looking for suggestions on tactics and formations frankly, and what you've found most helpful. I should add that I'm a pretty casual gamer but enjoy the mental and strategic side of sports games and team management, I'm just newer to the FC universe and would love any tips you all have picked up. Thanks!

Crows are ruining my fun

I've posted about this here once before but I'm feeling a bit defeated. About a month or so ago, I moved my Bird Buddy from our fence to a poll in the yard higher up and more visible for birds. We started with a ton of cardinals, finches, and blue jays making stops since it was now more in their path. Unfortunately, it also attracted crows, which I was initially excited about. The subsequent weeks however, the crows have thrown my bird seed out of the feeder continuously, scared my other birds off, and have altogether started to kill my excitement and joy for bird watching in the yard. I have tried a separate feeder, giving them higher value treats elsewhere, literally everything humane. And now their fits of throwing tons of bird seed into my yard has attracted rats. Does anyone have experience with this and has anyone successfully dealt with crows? For the record, we have Fish and American crows here, and the Fish Crows seem to be the main culprit

Do we think we could combine September Maryland with rest-of-the-season ND and win a natty?

Obviously this is mostly a joke but wouldn’t it be nice to get out of September undefeated and then keep the traditional October-December train rolling? As a treat?

Journeying to Liverpool and Catching a Match

Hello fellow Toffees,

I only recently joined this group as I’m newer to Reddit, and am looking for more places to find community with other Everton fans. Let me start off by saying I’m an American who grew up playing and watching football in the early 00’s. My favorite thing on the weekends, aside from watching Didier Drogba dominate (he’s my favorite footballer), was watching Everton. Especially as I grew older, between the working class roots of the club (I grew up relatively poor here in the states) and my favorite American player being the goalkeeper, Everton became my team. I’m 30 now, I’ve never been to the UK, never been to football match that wasn’t the MLS, and am dying to catch an Everton match. My wife and I are planning to come out either next Spring or the following, and I’d love to get to a match and also experience the city. What match should I come for (Liverpool is my obvious preference) and what are your favorite things to do in the city? Cheers!

Give me a reason to be optimistic about this season

I know the title seems dramatic, but it's genuinely how I'm feeling. Not that I don't believe in the talent or the outlook. This team is good. It has good depth. It's strong in pretty much every position, and looks like a legitimate title contender.

Here's my problem: I am 30. I haven't been really sentient for a season and a team at ND to be this level of legit contender. Of course we remember the blips under BK, but those were clearly, to me, paper tigers, and were treated as such. But this season's team is getting legitimate buzz and betting odds favoring them. As a fan, 2.5-3 years ago, this was the season I was circling as the one where it should all come together. But I have loads of generational sports-related trauma. Including this program falling flat at every moment and not meeting the moment (save for 2024). So, give this anxious and traumatized sports fan a reason to believe that this year will really be as great as we are all envisioning.

Favorite misheard lyric from Wu?

Watched their performance during Game 4 and was thinking about how I was first introduced to the group. What is your favorite misheard lyric from Wu? A personal of mine is the first time I heard any song from them, it was Shame On a N**** and I thought Raekwon said “Formin like Voltron, remember I got teeth like a baby seal”

Trouble with crows at the feeder

Hi friends, I have been loving my recent visits by the neighborhood crows as they are such a delight to watch and we trade trinkets. We have two kinds of crows here in VA, the American Crow and the Fish Crow. I'm not sure if the temperament is different, but I'm having clear trouble with at least one crow. They come to my birdbuddy and absolutely eviscerate my seed supply in less than an hour. If they were eating it, I'd be more okay with it even if it means more expense for me. However, what this one bird is doing is simply shoveling all of the feed out onto the ground. Not eating it. Very rarely actually picking something out. I have a few questions:

  1. Are there items crows really like in your experience? I know they like mealworms and whole peanuts in the shell, but are there other items they really prefer?

  2. Have any of you set up separate places for crows to congregate? They've been scaring off the smaller birds and obviously have emptied my feeder so no other birds can feed.

I'd like to try and deal with this problem in the nicest way possible because I love crows and want them to stick around, just maybe in a less destructive manner.

Pulling data from a variety of sheets

I work at an advocacy nonprofit, and I'm building state dashboards to track our partner relationships, engagement, activity, etc. I want to pull it all together with an engagement metric (basically, measuring event attendance, actions taken, email responses, etc). I am having trouble finding the right formula that would allow me to pull their org name from each sheet every time it occurs into a final sheet where I have the engagement calculator located. I know (I think) it can be done, I'm just having trouble understanding how to pull it all into one location; for instance, I have tabs for each metric I mentioned above, and now I want to pull it into a final giant table, and in these sheets, an organization's name may be listed 8-10 times per sheet because of the variety of events & actions.

Neighborhood crows have discovered the feeder

I recently moved our birdbuddy from a shaded part of our yard at a lower level to about 6 feet in the air on a post in the middle of our yard, and the crows have found it immediately. Of the 4 we’ve received, 3 of them are lovely. One of them finds it entertaining to toss all the feed onto the ground. The joys of wild birds! I suppose I should prepare some shiny presents for them.
