Stairs? Witches Steps? Partal ladder? 😬
Fairly certain they're vertical towards the top 🥲🙃
Beautifully suspended over the open stairwell so when you fall, the death is certain.

Twice recently I've had friends (30s and 40s F) tell me (30s F) remarkably casually that they've stopped or removed froms of contraception without informing their male sexual partners.

One is in a casual relationship, one is in a long term live-in relationship.

They seemed quite casual about it but I'm pretty shocked 🫠

Both of them are hoping to fall pregnant.

I understand wanting to have a child. But I am pretty sure it would be illegal for a man to maliciously impregnate someone. So doesn't it work the other way too? (Appreciate laws differ everywhere - Central Europe)

....is this something people do? Maybe it is more common than I knew? Maybe I am being dumb by being surprised?

This is not a question for me, exactly. Rather a general one, for someone I care for.

The person in question: UK, F, 70, 5ft 5in. Unsure about weight, but slightly overweight, not obese.

She has had a hormone responsive breast cancer and double mastectomy, some 20yrs ago. Because of this, she has been told not to use any hormonal drugs.

I found this HRT cream leaflet while cleaning and am concerned using it could cause complications. I have googled and in the UK this is a prescription only item.

Which raises the question of why it would be prescribed given her health history.

I am not trying to be "in her business" but am worried about her putting herself in harms way.

She's otherwise very healthy and no medications.

My brain can't quite comprehend how this exists in NW9 - on what looks like a very average looking residential road.
Can't see it on streetview, so must be set way back? thanks everyone, got it!
Anyway, it looks like it belongs in the Cotswolds (or a fairytale!) not a N London residential suburb 😵💫
The more unhinged the better. Do your worst, ya maniacs.
The door behind the bed? The internal window? The ceiling hole? The less said about the bathroom situation the better....
