Camping in Mongolia

We are enjoying our Mongolia roadtrip to the fullest: booked last minute (since I was not sure how things would evolve due to the current situation) but MIUT brought us safe to Mongolia. Rented 4x4 and we enjoy an empty country, exciting roads and skies full of stars. This country is amazing 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Rated a guest badly

Hello!

We always have lovely guests, but just recently we had a girl who was really weird, she never showered and her smell was so bad in the entire house. She did not speak but was super unfriendly, just two times she actually was nice. Also weird, because everyone is really nice in our house.

When she left the bathroom was super dirty and the smell so bad that the next guests complained, even if we washed ALL textile, including curtains etc. On top she damaged our tiles with her suitcase because she just did not care.

I wrote an ok-ish review, giving 3 stars with cleanliness and 4 with communication which was really nice. When asked if I would recommend her as a guest I said no. In the comment I wrote that she was really dirty and damaged the tiles. I did not mention her smell because of privacy reasons. All in all I was still very fair, and still I am afraid it has some negative consequences with Airbnb because they are just ... unfair.

Usually we have 4.9 in overall rating, almost all ratings are 5.

Did you ever have this situation? So far our review was neither published nor hers, although I got a message that she already wrote a review.

Any experience with this?

PS.: We did not even ask her for money for the damaged stairs!

Just came back from 3 weeks in Mongolia

Just came back from 3 amazing weeks in Mongolia. We selected a route which skipped the touristic spots and rather focuses on places off the beaten tracks. And what should I say? It was the most beautiful trip I ever did. We met kind people, stayed in amazing places, had cool activities like camel riding, stayed with nomads and enjoyed amazing roads. I will come back for a winter tour, already booked 🫶🏻

Experience with Ironman Oman?

I followed athletes for some years now and the Ironman events in Oman always looked amazing, and I only heard the best about the events.
Does anyone have raced themselves? Would love to hear more ☺️

Ps.: safety is not the issues. Oman is the peacemaker and I feel very safe and also believe the culture is amazing, also for female athletes.

3 weeks Mongolia amazing roadtrip

Just came back from a fully healing trip: 3 weeks, 2 people, 1 Toyota Land Cruiser and the best country to enjoy peace, unbelievable landscapes and absolutely lovely people. We pre-booked the schedule including many activities, but the itinerary was flexible enough to stay in the most beautiful settings if we felt it. What a country! 🫶🏻

With turkish to Mongolia

Don’t shoot me if this is not about Turkish … but the airline brought me to the most beautiful trip I ever made. 3 weeks in a Toyota Land Cruiser through Mongolia was so healing - please go there, I can only recommend it.
