How do you stick to one class?

I keep jumping between classes because everything feels fun for a while, then I get bored and switch again. Now I have a bunch of half-geared characters and no real “main.” Part of me feels like I should just commit to one, but I can’t decide what. Do most of you actually main one class, or just play whatever you feel like?

Finally did it. Best decision ever.

I’ve been thinking about doing a solo trip for years but always found an excuse to put it off. I finally stopped overthinking, packed my bag, and just went. Honestly, the first two days were a mix of "what am I doing?" and pure adrenaline, but once I hit the trail and met some people at the hostel, everything just clicked. There’s something about having everything you need on your back that makes life feel so much simpler.

For anyone else sitting on the fence or waiting for the "perfect" time, just go. You don't need the most expensive gear or a perfectly planned itinerary to have a good time. Some of my favorite moments so far have been the ones I didn't plan for at all. If you have any questions about starting out or just want to share your first trip jitters, let’s talk in the comments!

My garage is a disaster… thinking of getting new shelving units

As you can guess from the title my garage has officially reached the point where opening is almost impossible. Every time I try to find one tool, I end up moving six random boxes, old paint cans, camping gear, Christmas decor, and stuff I forgot I even owned. It’s complete chaos in there.

I decided to reorganize my garage and clean it up after I visited my neighbour to borrow a drill. And I saw his place… it was so clean and organised, and I’ve decided that I need something like that

Came home afterward and immediately started mentally reorganizing everything…

The biggest issue is I just don’t have enough shelving space, but I also don’t really want those flimsy shelves from a supermarket that start wobbling the second you put anything on them. As for me, I’d rather spend a little more once and get something solid that can actually handle tools, bins, and all the random garage junk that piles up over the years.

I looked online and somehow ended up looking at SI Retail shelving systems even though they seem to mostly make stuff for stores and warehouses. And wanna say that some of their setups look sturdier than most garage shelves I’ve seen

Anyone here use commercial-style shelving in a home garage? Is it overkill or actually worth it in the long run?

Bus driver writes poems, drives his route, walks his dog, stops for a beer, repeats. That's basically the whole movie. No car chases, no villains, no dramatic breakdowns. Just a person moving through a week with quiet attention. I kept waiting for something terrible to happen because that's what movies trained me to expect. It never did. Somehow that felt more radical than any explosion. Made me look at my own quiet week differently, like maybe the small moments were the whole point all along.

Does anyone know other films where the magic is just in watching someone live their normal life with care and nothing gets ruined?

I’m kind of at a crossroads and just trying to figure out what the least bad option is here

I recently inherited my dad’s house. He and my mum divorced about 20 years ago, and he never really remarried or moved anywhere else permanently. The place has basically just been sitting there in survival mode for years and not really maintained, not updated, just kind of left as-is

Now it’s legally mine, and I know it might sound like a blessing, but in reality it’s been more of a financial headache than anything else. I wanna say that it’s not a very spacious house. Indeed it’s old enough that everything feels like it needs attention at once with all the plumbing, roof, wiring, you name it. Nothing catastrophic on its own, but collectively it adds up fast

Besides, I’m already have some problems with mortgage payments and a couple of other debts. Cash flow has become a real issue for me lately, and I’m just trying to stay on float

Under normal circumstances I’d probably try to fix it up and rent it or sell it properly on the market, but I just don’t have the time or money for that route right now

I found a few buyers who offer cash, and while it’s not something I’d do. Still I see that it’s the only solution for now. Not ideal, but at least it would give me some breathing room and let me reset financially instead of constantly playing catch-up

Made it seven days no cigarettes. Felt pretty good this morning actually. Then my car made a weird noise, I got stressed, and my brain immediately went "time to buy a pack." Didn't do it. But the fact that any minor inconvenience still triggers that craving is exhausting. Does that ever fully go away or do you just get better at ignoring it?

I’ve been spending way too much time lately scrolling through build forums and Instagram, and it’s honestly mind blowing what people can do with an old frame and a vision. I’m a sucker for a clean project, but it feels like the bar just keeps getting higher. I’m talking about those bikes that make you stop and stare, the ones where the engineering is so clever you don't even realize how much work went into it. I want to see the best of the best. What’s the one custom bike that lives in your head rent free?

Random question, but what do you all do with your old phones once you upgrade?

I was cleaning out a drawer the other day and realized I still have an iPhone 14 and an iPhone 15 just sitting there collecting dust. They both work fine and I just never got around to doing anything with them.

I tried listing them on Facebook Marketplace and a couple local buy/sell groups, but the offers were honestly kind of ridiculous. Like people were texting me offering like $50, which barely feels worth the hassle of meeting up with strangers

I recently found one local phone exchange place as another option for selling old devices, and I’m wondering if anyone here has actually used a platform like that instead of dealing with marketplace buyers directly.

Is it smoother, or do you still end up getting lowballed either way?

I’ve been driving for a few years now, and I still can’t wrap my head around why merging is such a struggle for so many people. Every morning on my commute, there’s always that one person who slams on their brakes at the end of an on-ramp instead of matching the speed of traffic. It’s like they expect the highway to just stop and let them in, but all it does is create a massive, dangerous backup for everyone behind them.

Then you have the "lane keepers" who refuse to let anyone in, even when you’re doing the zipper merge perfectly. It’s not a competition to see who gets home ten seconds faster! Does anyone else feel like basic merging should be a much bigger part of the driving test, or is it just a lost cause at this point? I’d love to hear if I’m the only one losing my mind over this.
