So I got my Pimax Dream Air this week, and have been trying to get the best settings for my hardware, specifically in iRacing. But one thing that was driving me crazy was the stutters, even when OpenXR toolkit was saying I had plenty of GPU and CPU headroom. Even with 30% headroom I was still getting frame drops and stutters, both at 90 and 72hz.

I found this thread of a user that had fixed a similar issue by rolling back the drivers to version 581.80 (November 2025). So I followed the advice, and it fixed it!!

Now I'm able to push the resolution even higher, have less headroom, but no framedrops and no stutters.

TLDR: driver 581.80 fixed my stutters
