More than The Shield and Sons of Anarchy? I have re-watched SoA a few times so I am very familiar with even the smaller parts/characters. I just recently started The Shield and I am about halfway through it (I know... I'm late to this party lol).
Anyway, I'm noticing LOTS of the same actors are in this. It's wild. I'm just wondering... do these two shows share more actors than any other two shows that aren't in the same universe?
I have seen a lot of TV, and I don't think I have ever seen this much cast crossover. So far, this is who I have noticed...

I don't know why I put it off for so long. I mean... there was a LOT of good stuff on TV from 2002 to about 2016. I had quite a backlog and I tend to rewatch a lot of my favorites.

I recently rewatched Sons of Anarchy and noticed a ton of actors from that show are also in The Shield. Goggins being pretty much my favorite actor is really what made me take the leap lol.
I was fairly young when this show was airing (~15) and always thought it was just another boring "Law & Order" type of show.

While I can already see that is not the case at all (S1E11), I do hope it becomes a more serialized show once it sets up the story (kind of how Justified did it). The episodic formula doesn't really tickle my fancy... This one is by far the best show I have seen do it though.

I kept expecting to see them run >!George's car!< against the giveaway. Two cars about as evenly matched as you can get. Definitely would have been interesting to see if one of 'em was a "factory freak."
...or see how much difference the driver made.😂

I’ve thought about this a lot.

Walton Goggins can play a charming sociopath, a heartbroken cowboy, a post-apocalyptic ghoul, or an Appalachian outlaw with more charisma than most leading men, and somehow make every single one of them feel like the most interesting person in the room.
The man could read a grocery list and you’d still lean in.

As for Alan Tudyk... he can voice a sarcastic death robot, a becoming self aware robot (lol 2 robots), a pilot who dies too soon, or even become a literal alien pretending to be human and still somehow steal every scene he’s in while making it look effortless.
The range is ridiculous. The commitment is unmatched.

Both are pure talent, scene-stealing energy, and make you wonder, “How the hell do they keep getting better?”

So here’s my challenge to all of you: name one actor who’s better than either of them. Not “as good.” Better. I’ll wait.

Edit: Well dang. I'm not getting a consensus, but The Last Kingdom seems to be a 3rd option.

I wanted to make this a poll, but I don't know how.🤷‍♂️

Anyway... I need to start a new show and I've been in the mood for something "Game of Thrones-esque."
I hear about these two shows a lot but I have never watched either one.
Let me know which one I should go for first?
OR... If there is another show in this same vein that you would recommend over these?

EDIT: I don't generally care for "suit and tie" shows either.

Hopefully that's enough to give an idea of my taste.

Since I don't see many UK shows, I don't really know of any examples of Americans doing good British accents in TV shows.
Also, as an American it is really difficult for me to tell whether their accent is flawless or slightly off.

I know what it's like the other way 'round lol
Andrew Lincoln does a great American accent in The Walking Dead.
Hugh Laurie (House) is brilliant.
Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy) while I love him and the show a lot, does a terrible job sounding American 😂

What are some examples (if there are any) of Americans doing good British accents in TV shows?

We go through a LOT of milk in our house.
We drink a lot and cook a lot. (I love my strawberry Nesquik lol)

Over the past several months, most milk has an extremely strong smell/taste almost like urine/ammonia. So bad I can't even use it. I'm talking gallons of whole milk from all different brands and stores. (Nowhere near expiration dates either. This is all the time, not infrequent.)
Nobody else in the house can smell or taste it but me!

It's really weird.

What's even weirder... I've just happened to notice that jugs with this symbol "Ⓤ"are always fine.🤔
Sometimes its even milk from the same brand, but one jug has this symbol while the other doesn't. It's literally never the ones with the symbol that taste bad.

Does anybody know what is going on with this?

So, they used a spy version of "Stephanie" to trick Eugenius... Ok.

They dress her up to look like the real Stephanie (whose name is actually Max)... Fine.

But, it's later established that they didn't even know who was actually talking to him on the radio. So, how did they know how to disguise the spy to resemble the woman (who (presumably had described herself to Euge via the radio) without being able to figure out it was Max?

I noticed and now I can't stop noticing it.
Like the way Andrea's head bobbles when she walks, Morgan has like... whatever the opposite of "bowlegged" is.😂
