Will I Struggle With Rides?

Hello! I am visiting Kings Island tomorrow and was wondering if anyone had any insight on if I would have issues getting on any rides. I am attending with my partner and they said that they won’t ride anything without me, and I don’t want to make us wait in long lines for me not to get on a ride.

I am a 5’11” male and between 270-280 pounds. Any advice is appreciated, thank you!

EDIT: Thank you everyone for your replies! I was able to ride everything I was trying to get on (Banshee, Delirium, The Bat, The Beast, The Racers, Woodstock Express, Mystic Timbers, and Phantom Theatre). I fit in both seats of the Banshee, and Mystic Timbers was tight but the operator had me cross my legs and was able to get the click.

Question about Park-Stradley

Hey y'all!

I just received my housing assignment and was wondering if anyone could tell me about their experience in Park-Stradley. I was placed on the fifth floor. I wanted a gender inclusive environment, and am wondering if I will have that. Thank you in advance for any information!

Choral Loch Lomond Arrangement Feedback

Hello!

[Google Drive with Score and Audio](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1fS5YcMPLd2KTZKvGm8owPs6ISMTZCcsa?usp=sharing)

I recently graduated high school and I wanted to write a choral arrangement and gift it to my choir director because he has done so much for me this past year. I decided to go with the Scottish folk song Loch Lomond because it has a personal meaning to me. I mostly compose for wind ensemble, orchestra, and saxophone quartet so choir is not my forte at all.

I am looking for feedback on my orchestration and ranges. The intent is for an intermediate high school SATB ensemble to be able to sing this. I am also looking for ideas on how I can take this chorus and alter it so that when it comes the second time (which will also be the last section of the song) it is more effective and interesting.

Thanks in advance!

Applicant - VJT Anxiety

Hey guys!

I just applied to a part-time position at my local CVS. After I submitted everything (the application and VJT), my application says that it is submitted. Does this mean I passed the VJT, or does it automatically say that? I've never worked retail before and I am nervous that my best case scenario answers were inconsistent.

Any insight or advice would be great, thanks in advance!

Concerns About Shadow Cast

Hello!

I am going to go to my first shadow cast of RHPS in about a month. I have watched the movie countless times, and am absolutely in love with everything about it. I am a bit nervous though about going to the shadow cast mainly because of the call outs. I know a few of the basic ones (slut, asshole, SAY IT), but not much else. Will I be judged or ridiculed for not knowing the call outs? Should I look them up before hand or learn them as I experience the show? I plan on attending the shadow cast every month as a tradition so should I go in "blind" the first time and from there bring props/yell the callbacks? Thanks!

Hello everyone!

I am very early in the process of writing my first musical. I am writing a romantic tragedy that has a backdrop against the Civil War. I started writing the first scene I am writing (the second scene in the musical), where my two love interests meet. Below is the dialogue that I have written, but I am stuck on how to start the song. Should I write lyrics then music? Or the other way around? I'm also stuck on how the music should sound. I was thinking of something a little folky because of the time period, but I'm not sure. Any tips or feedback would be amazing! Thanks!

DIALOUGE
Charles: What are you doing here? No one ever comes out to this field?
Lily: You did.
Charles: *sigh* You’re right. I just needed something quiet. Somewhere to get away.
Lily: So you chose my field?
Charles: Sorry, I didn’t know you were here. I’ll go away.
Lily: Don’t be so gullible. What’s your name?
Charles: Charlie. I mean, my name is Charles but everyone calls me Charlie.
Lily: Now, Charlie, do you just leave when anyone starts to boss you around
Charles: No, it’s just- I don’t know
Lily: You never asked for my name
Charles: What is it?
Lily: Guess!
Charles: I don’t know what to make of you.
Lily: Good. I’m Lily, just like those flowers.
Charles: You’re tricking me again.
Lily: You don’t know what to believe, do you?
Charles: My father wasn’t able to teach me those lessons.
Lily: Oh?
Charles: He’s been a drunk since my mother died.
Lily: Oh- I’m sorry…
Charles: (Overlapping) I’m sorry- I don’t typically tell strangers my story. You never told me why you were here.
Lily: You’re fascinating.
Charles: You’re avoiding my question.
Lily: This field is where life has taken me.
MUSIC BEGINS
