does anyone know of any overnight security jobs that are hiring? my bf used to work in overnight security and has his licenses. this semester he has classes like 3-4 times a week and his current job won’t work with his schedule. his job is absolutely terrible and is effecting him negatively in every aspect. overnight security seems to be the only way he can be able to juggle school and work.
he’s also almost done with his accounting degree so if there are any ins to that, that would also be helpful.

any help would be greatly appreciated, i hate seeing the job he’s in literally suck the life out of him.

i’m not sure how it is at other stores, but here, the little cold brew fridge is known for tripping people. basically your shoe gets caught on a metal piece or an edge which causes you to trip.
so today i am walking over to get some raspberry syrup which we have on our cold bar. of course! the cold brew fridge is right below it. as i finish pumping my cup full of raspberry syrup (which is pretty runny btw) i turn to walk away and the cold brew fridge decided it was my time.
my shoe gets caught and out of instinct my arms go flying up to balance myself. and there goes the cup full of raspberry syrup still in my hand, but the raspberry- goes flying INTO MY FACE, my apron, and everything else around me. my shift manager tells me to go to the back and as im running to the back, my poor coworker is on the floor doing the pull in the back and when i swing the door open, i guess it looks like my face is gushing blood so he’s absolutely terrified for a split second until he realizes, im just full of raspberry.
i tried to salvage my makeup underneath but i did smell like berries the whole shift and my face was sticky and a bit itchy. but yes. i am now buying new shoes as we speak ☺️

My BF and i have been together for almost a year (it’ll be year next month). We’ve been on 3 trips during our relationship, Miami for my birthday, Orlando for his bday (we already live in south florida and have been here millions of times ) and California. My birthday trip last august in miami was 1 day with a group of his cousin and girlfriend, and one of their girl friends. i didn’t really get to pick anything of what we did i kinda just tagged along and felt kind of excluded at times. Orlando last October was fine, but it was also not just me and him and it didn’t really go as planned either, but i did make a lot of effort to make it special (paid for his dinner and set up the bnb with balloons and gifts). We also went to Cali in February with his cousin and gf again, but i spent the whole time in hospitals with him because he kept having panic attacks (lack of sleep from his overnight job). his cousin would offer to pick me up from the hospitals to go out with him and his GF, but i didn’t want to leave my BF alone when i felt he needed me. i’m grateful we went anyways regardless of what happened, because i was always raised to be grateful & humble, being i never did much growing up.
Fast forward to now, we haven’t been anywhere else, let alone on many dates. i’ve been asking for a few months, if we could do a trip just me and him. it didnt have to be anywhere extravagant, id be okay with any state since i haven’t really been anywhere. He always complains about it not being a good time because he’s not where he wants to be ,which i try to be understanding of. But for the past month he’s been planning a trip with his boys to Japan this august. i kept letting him know that i would’ve liked to go to japan (dream destination that i’ve been trying to go to for years btw) and to ask if maybe i could join. i get it boys don’t like when a gf is around, but the trip is during my birthday. he’s said for weeks he’d ask them if they were okay with it, but he still hasn’t asked. Maybe if it was a different date and not my birthday id be less upset, but im still frustrated because every trip, hospital visit or panic attack (which happens very often) ive always been quick to run to him and be by his side when nobody else is, and i feel there’s not much appreciation of that- and also, id been asking for something not even as expensive as Japan, just us, for what feels like ages. not to mention, i have a very very big feeling that we will not do anything for our anniversary next month. Also he went to texas with them a few days ago for a wedding and was telling me he felt excluded with them or weird, so i’m not understanding why he’d chose to make plans with them if they act like that ,over me, who is literally at his side whenever he needs me. They sent the link for the ticket today & ive been arguing about this for weeks and i’m considering ending the relationship if he chooses to go without me. idk if that’s reasonable
