I had to put my groceries back today

My husband and I went grocery shopping at Sam’s Club today because I have a credit card there and we only have $80 to last until Friday. We filled up the cart. About $300 worth of groceries. I had a credit limit of 2k. Well.. we went to check out and my card wouldn’t work. Apparently they lowered my limit to 1100 on the 4th and “the notice is in the mail.” We had no other money to pay for the stuff. I’ve ran out of options. I’ve never felt that much shame and embarrassment. I’m so emotional and overwhelmed.

I’ve been on my period since the end of January and I’m so tired of spending money on pads! I’ve gone through so many and at this point will probably just buy some in bulk. They are not cheap. I know there are resources out there but I don’t want to take away from people who really can’t afford them. It’s just one of the most overlooked frustrating things that comes with this.

I started metformin yesterday and it hit me like a bus. My stomach was hurting so bad I used the bathroom 4 times last night. It woke me up out of my sleep. I also threw up some yellow liquid, no food. Before I started throwing up I got really lightheaded and felt like I was going to pass out. I would like to also add that I started on other medications yesterday as well but nothing that I hadn’t taken before (lexapro, vitamin D, birth control pill, and ear drops for an ear infection) which I know could play a part. I’m taking 500mg extended release once a day with meal.
