37 weeks fetal movement

I’m almost 38 weeks and it’s 4am. I’m genuinely so done. I have hyper fixated on her movements my entire pregnancy and it’s seriously so draining. The last 3-4 days her movements have dropped off a lot, I still feel her but it’s a lot more subtle. I’ve been awake since 3am and now it’s almost 5 and I can’t fall back asleep because I am worried she has not moved enough. I don’t know what her pattern is or what’s normal because she’s been this way since about 18 weeks. She’ll have a week or so where she moved reassuringly and frequently and then she’ll drop off for days. I see so many scary things about fetal movement and still birth and I’m just so ready to be done being pregnant. I’ve gone into labor and delivery 5 times now for decreased movement and every time the ultrasounds and NSTs come back fine. It’s hard because I don’t know if it’s necessarily decreased or not or if she’s just in a new position. Did anyone else experience this towards the end? I really just want to be induced at this point.

In laws in hospital when baby is born.

Hi there, in need of some advice. I have a small family that I am close with and they all know they will not be in the room during delivery or for the hours that follow after. My husband has a HUGE family who thinks they are entitled to being in the waiting room while I give birth. My sister in law recently gave birth a couple months ago and literally 15 family members were either in the room or outside the room during delivery. She got no “golden hour” because every stormed in to meet the baby. My husband doesn’t want his family there during the labor or right after either but it seems normal to them to request this. I don’t want to be rude to them or make them think I’m some crazy germ freak but the thought of having all those people there a few short hours after my baby is born gives me so much anxiety. Also I have 4 very young nieces and nephews that are brought everywhere and will have just started school (germs) and I’m not comfortable with them holding my baby like they do my sister in laws. I’ve already stated that I don’t want people in the room or waiting room and they all just kinda look at me like I’m crazy. Not to mention I live on the same property as my in laws lol 😵‍💫

Thank you notes- never sent out

Like the title says, it’s 2 months until my one year anniversary and I never sent out my thank you notes and I’m having a ton of anxiety. I got pregnant shortly after my wedding and dealt with terrible sickness for about 4 months. I totally forgot about sending them out and now I feel so so bad. I’m dedicating this weekend to writing them and sending them out but I can’t shake this anxiety! Especially with my baby shower coming up I just feel so guilty. I know thank you notes are kinda a dying thing but I still should have sent them earlier. Do you think it’s okay I’m sending them so late? Technically you have a year after your wedding date correct? Ughhh

Fetal movement

Hi, I need advice. I’m 35 weeks today and I cannot stop hyper fixating on fetal movement. I’ve been like this since she first started moving around 17-18 weeks. In the beginning I’d actually feel her pretty regularly (19-24 weeks) then around 25-28 weeks I felt her decrease a ton, I’d still feel her daily multiple times a day but just not super prominent. Around 30 weeks things started to pick up and I was able to feel her more consistently throughout the day. Now at 35 weeks, I still feel her every hour or so but for the last few days her activity spurts have not been long or aggressive like usual. I’ll feel her every hour but it’s more like a few subtle rolls and then she goes back to sleep. I’ve been in to L&D like 4 times already for decreased fetal movement and every time she’s okay, but I’m just scared. I don’t know what’s enough and what’s normal for her because her pattern has always been unpredictable. I can’t sleep at night because I worry about her not moving while I’m asleep. It’s like torture. Anytime I ask AI or call L&D they just tell me to come in right away, but I can’t keep coming in it’s so mentally and physically draining. Please help!

Baby name- Elowen Grace

Do you guys like my babies name? It’s Elowen Grace 🤍 I feel like because I have said it so many times (she’s not born yet) that I’m starting to not love it as much as when I first picked it. But I can’t imagine her as anything else now! Her nickname is Winnie.

Movement 31 weeks

Hi there, I’ve written about this a couple times but I’m just so confused. Some days my baby is SO active, more then 10 movements an hour, then slowly it starts dropping again. It usually picks back up the next day or so but it’s so worrisome and she has no pattern that I can reliably follow. It’s just some days she’s active, some days she’s not. This morning I’m barely feeling her and it’s rlly scary because usually when I’m laying down I can feel her a lot. I just don’t know what is normal or what is enough.

Constant stress about baby movements (29 weeks)

Hi there, I’m 29 weeks and a couple days. Since about 20 weeks I’ve felt my baby everyday. Around 24-26 weeks kicks started becoming more muffled and less prominent which I thought was weird because she was getting bigger. At 26/27 weeks I felt her rolling and nudging more then kicking and thought she was developing a pretty regular pattern. I’ve had multiple BPPs due to low fetal movement because I just don’t know what her “normal” is. The last few days she’s gone back to being really quiet and I just don’t know how much movement I should be feeling. Everyone says something different. If I don’t feel her for a couple hours at a time I start freaking out, and if I do feel her and it’s muffled and quiet I also freak out. I have a posterior placenta so I just thought I’d feel everything little thing but I don’t. Did any other moms struggle with this? What amount of movement should I be looking for if she doesn’t have a schedule? Thanks.

Baby movement

Hi there, I still feel like my baby is just not very active. Maybe that’s my new normal but I have to be really still to feel her now and I’m almost 28 weeks. How am I supposed to do kick counts when she barely is kicking? I feel her throughout the day maybe 30-50 times but it’s not very noticeable and I have to be focusing for it most the time. I just expected more consistent big movements at this stage. If both my BPPs came back good there’s really nothing else I can do right? I really dislike going to L&D and getting checked when everything is okay but it’s still worrisome not having an active baby anymore.

Has anyone else had a quiet baby with a posterior placenta? Thanks.

Baby movements at 27 weeks

Looking for some reassurance from other moms.

I’m 27 weeks pregnant today with my first baby girl. From about 20–24 weeks, she felt super active with strong kicks all day. Lately, her movements have become much more muted and “muffled.” I still feel her every day but honestly barely, they’re often faint nudges, rolls, or movements very low and quiet to what I was getting used to.

I’ve had two ultrasounds and two BPPs this week because I was worried, and everything looked great. Baby is healthy, fluid is good, and my doctors aren’t concerned.

I’m just confused because her movement feels so different than it did a few weeks ago. Has anyone else experienced this around 26–28 weeks and gone on to have everything be okay? Did movement pick back up? Thanks.

Would love to hear your experiences. ❤️

Stress about movements

Hi guys, I’m 26 weeks and 4 days and I stress about movements constantly. Some days she’s so so strong, rolling kicking flipping and for the last two days the movements have felt so much more muffled. I still feel her but not nearly as prominent or as much as I did in weeks 20-24. This happens a couple times a week where she just goes so much quieter. I have a postierer placenta so I should be feeling those strong kicks and flips like normal right? It’s hard to figure out what decreased movement is when she’s so inconsistent. I saw some people talking about decreased movement at 26 weeks and they went in and the baby was in distress, but how would I know if I’m still feeling her just not very often and not as strong as previous weeks or days? Sorry if this is redundant, just anxious.
