Hi everyone. I installed antiX on an old PC for basic tasks, mainly managing product listings on Mercado Libre (an e-commerce platform). However, the CPU hits 100% usage as soon as I launch any web browser (I've tried both Firefox and Falkon), making the system extremely laggy and borderline unusable.

System Specs:
CPU: AMD Sempron LE-1150 (1 core @ 2.0 GHz)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 (using ⁠nouveau⁠ open-source driver)
RAM: 1.8 GB DDR2
OS: antiX Linux (Kernel 6.6 / Debian 13 base)

I know modern web pages (especially JS-heavy platforms) are demanding, but I would like to know if there is a lightweight JS-compatible browser or any system/kernel tweak that could help render these pages without maxing out the single-core CPU.
Any tips or recommendations for this hardware? Thanks in advance!

Tengo que empezar a comer un poco mejor y me pareció una buena alternativa, además en menos de 1 hora lo tenes listo! Y ni hablar de que llena un montón y eso que vivo para la comida jajajaja

Ingredientes:
Fideos frescos
Caldo de pollo
Cebollita de verdeo
Huevos marinados en salsa de soja y azúcar (30 min mínimo)
Pollo primero sellarlo en una olla con puerro, jengibre, ajo y la parte blanca del verdeo y zanahoria, después tirarle todo el caldo encima para que se cocine 45 min (esto podes aprovechar a hacerlo con varias pechugas y la próxima ya tenes casi todo hecho)
En el mismo caldo que se cocinó el pollo agregamos un poco de agua y metemos los fideos 6 min.
Y listo! Después decorarlo 💪🏼

Tengo 30 años y puedo decir que mis mejores momentos en el gaming me los dio la ps2 y el Mu. Así que me conseguí una buena play que jamás voy a volver a vender y a disfrutarla otra vez! Además compre un cable componente y un convertidor componente a HDMI y se ve espectacular en TVs modernas.

Las compraba cuando era chico (tengo 30) y eran las mejores galletitas del mundo! Tengo entendido que son chilenas y siguen existiendo, hay alguien que las venda acá??

I’m having some issues with my printer. On all the perimeters, it leaves small gaps, as if the infill isn’t reaching the walls. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I’m using PLA Silk, but whenever the nozzle touches the bed it leaves small blobs of material that later turn into strings. I lowered the temperature to 210°C and it happens less often, but it still does it, and I can’t seem to get a clean print. Any ideas?

I cleaned the print bed, ran the auto-leveling, dried the filament, and it’s still happening. Any ideas?

UPDATE SOLVED: I managed to fix it by slightly loosening the screw that holds the magnet, raising the entire poop wiper assembly a little higher, and then tightening it again. Thank you all so much for your help!

I was doing a 5-hour print, and 2 hours in, it just froze in a corner without moving. The screen became completely unresponsive, so my only option was to unplug it and plug it back in. When it boots up and gives the option to resume printing, it throws error E0006, saying there's a hotend temperature issue. I tried taking it out, cleaning it, swapping it for a 0.6 nozzle, everything... but I couldn't save the print.
I cancelled it, and when I went to the menu, it's telling me about an old update even though I already have the latest version (5.1.4) installed. This is the second time this has happened; last time, it straight up factory reset the printer on its own. A total disaster. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? I had to cancel everything and resend the file, and now it's printing normally again, but God knows for how long

Hey guys, how can I make this box I'm printing have more infill and fewer solid layers? Right now, it does the equivalent of about two infill layers and then 5 solid layers, which takes forever. I'd like to reduce that to 3 solid layers and increase the infill, is that possible? I tried lowering the 'Bottom shell layers' option from 5 to 3, but nothing changed.
