Will this banana plant produce bananas?

I just bought this Musa ‘Nono’ Pink Variegated Banana plant from Lowe’s a couple of weeks ago. What are the chances of it actually producing bananas? Has anyone had any luck with that? I obviously love the plant the way it is, and won’t care if it produces or not, just curious on other people’s experiences!

Homegirl has claimed this flower as her own.

I used to hate spiders. They still terrify me if they are in my house. But watching her (I’m assuming her?) claim this zinnia as her own for the past 4 days, I find myself hoping she never leaves or is easy to find once this flower ends up dying.

Aster yellows?

This is supposed to be a candy cane zinnia. This is the first bloom off this plant, so I know that naturally it’s going to be small and a little “off” compared to the rest of the blooms this plant produces. The middle has me wondering if I need to be concerned about aster yellows though? It just looks a lot worse than any of my other first blooms from other plants.

What does everyone do with dirt at the end of the season?

Most of my plants are annuals. When it comes to the first frost and I need to start cleaning up, what would you recommend I do with all the dirt/soil in my pots/grow bags? Can I use it next year? How should I store my plants like my peppermint and lemon balm that may come back next year? I live in zone 4b. This is my first year really gardening so I’m pretty clueless with a lot of this.

Gardening has helped me overcome a huge fear of spiders

Title basically says it. I used to be utterly terrified of anything creepy crawly. Especially spiders. But growing flowers and veggies have made me appreciate these guys so much more this summer

What is this?

Can anyone help me identify whats growing in my flower bed? I know I planted celosia, snapdragon, and I believe gerber daisies, but this bright green plant growing doesn’t look anything like any of that? Maybe I’m wrong? If it’s a weed, I’d like to pull it sooner rather than later. I’m located in SW Minnesota for reference. Thanks!

Flower bed help

I’m super new to gardening. I planted a mix of flower seeds in this flower bed. Most of them cut flowers. Are these weeds that have taken over or are they flower sprouts? They don’t look like my other typical flowers, which has me concerned. I’m going to be super bummed if this is full of weeds.
