Today is "Dimaagi Naxals"
Tomorrow is anyone who disagrees with them which includes you.
I am very happy how India has gone, it is protecting freedom of speech, acceptance of disagreement, accountability, transparency, power sharing with such dedication it amazes me. Soon this will be case study on "How to protect democracy". Who knows, future students will learn this as democracy in the future, cuz this is democracy right? Surely they must have clear definition of who is a "Dimaagi Naxals" right. Surely they must, only then they can say this right? This must be fine right?
This only reminds me of "First They Came":
First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist
Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me
Right now India is not doing any of this, so I am very happy. Long live democracy in India.
Democracy is for all, but
the intolerant is not meant to be tolerated

What is the meaning of this word(kattu), and what is the meaning throughout centuries.
Would very much appreciate answers with citations.
Thank you.
Do you guys hate the dmk fully and believe that everything they have done is wrong and has caused problems or do you think they have done positives and have negatives?
I feel that whenever one side criticises the other with questions, instead of anwering it just turns to "what did you do" and honestly in my view it is completely unproductive and is just more fancier way of saying "I don't know the answer so lets divert the topic from something else"
What do you guys think? Just my observation.
Just want a discussion
Hello DMK supporters, before anyone of you call me a tvk supporter or sanghi impersonating as dmk supporters, here is a link(down in comments, for some reason automod deletes the post) to my post during the first delimitation attempt by BJP where I explain how delimitation is bad and how a mere vocal guarantee is not enough.
Now, we all know of some recent news that dmk intends to support delimitation bill under a few conditions that being TN does not lose its % of seats in lok sabha(i.e 7.18% ) even if seats are increased and this should be written in the bill itself instead of vocal assurance. To many this seems fine. However, we must look closely at the structural risks of this process. Despite the seat guarantees, there remains the major concern of inherent danger of gerrymandering.
“Gerrymandering defined in the contexts of representative electoral system, is the political manipulation of electoral district boundaries to advantage a party, group, or socioeconomic class within the constituency. (From wikipedia)
For a better understanding here:
Boundaries drawn to apportion five "districts" result in varying color majorities, including no yellow and 5 blue (top left), 3 yellow and 2 blue (top right), and 2 yellow and 3 blue (lower examples matching "voter" proportions). (From wikipedia and pic from wikipedia)
Once delimitation is done, it is very difficult to challenge in courts , meaning once the new constituencies are made it will be very difficult to challenge it.
Isnt it our top priority to defeat BJP democratically to ensure the protection of state rights and secularism? Then why support a bill like this which could help them. Shouldn’t dmk reject this proposal to ensure bjp does not gain anything?
So those who believe dmk did a mistake and is asking what can I do?, well there is an option, write an email(using ai or your own if you can write really good formal letter) requesting them to not support delimitation bill. Here is the link to find their email: headquarters@dmk.in
This is not about rejecting dmk ideologically, this is about asking them to make the right decision for Tamil Nadu and the federal structure of this nation.

Subject: Urgent: Appeal to Reject the Delimitation Bill and Protect State Rights
To the Leadership of the DMK,
As supporters concerned with the federal autonomy of Tamil Nadu, we urge the party to completely reject the Delimitation Bill. While negotiating for a written guarantee of our 7.18% Lok Sabha seat share is a strong step, a written clause does not eliminate the severe risks of internal gerrymandering.
Redrawing district boundaries inside our state could dilute regional strongholds and give national parties an artificial advantage. Furthermore, under Article 329(a), these drawn boundaries are nearly impossible to challenge effectively in court once finalized.
We request the DMK leadership to maintain its historic, uncompromised stand on states' rights and refuse any deal on a fundamentally dangerous delimitation framework.
Respectfully,
