So I have Diabetes type 2 and about 2 months ago I was getting my bloods done and was told my kidneys and everything else were fine apart from a Vitamin D thing which I knew about. For the last several weeks though I have been peeing quite a lot so have been trying to train my bladder so I am not going all the time. The strange thing is the amount of urine I am passing has definitely increased. Mostly about 400ml and my last couple today have each been 500ml. I have only drank 1.4 litres of fluid so far today so I am peeing more than I am drinking.

I don’t have a UTI and not Pregnant. I don’t think a kidney could develop this quickly after a clear blood test could it.

I don’t have Diabetes insipidus or a UTI.

I just read that and wasn’t sure if that’s true.

I see this is recommended a lot but isn’t it a diuretic so won’t that cause more peeing.

Mine is mostly pelvic pressure

Having bladder issues and as I am 47 wondering if it’s peri. I know to ask for vaginal Estrogen but should I be asking for the patch too.

Does anyone find that when they use the bathroom they are peeing quite large volumes.

Does this help urgency

I know everyone is different but just out of interest.

Driving me mad

I am on the waiting list to see a therapist but it could be quite a while before I see one. I am sure I have Hypertonic Pelvic Floor Dysfunction as my symptoms match up. Would it be ok I can just do the exercises from YouTube in the meantime.

Anyone else just do it themselves.
