Never, ever give up on your dream

I just thought I'd share a picture of our first sketch from 2 years ago when we were just starting Isle of Finbari. This is our first game and it has been a huge learning curve with many mistakes along the way. We have worked night and day and life has had to take a backseat. We have battled through every difficulty and somehow kept each other going even in the hardest times. If you have a dream that you want to follow then just go for it and never ever give up.

Shout out to all the pixel artists who make it look effortless

I'm part of the dev team for Isle of Finbari. Recently I decided to help our pixel artist as I do have some art skills and thought that maybe I could help a bit. Wow was I wrong! I knew it wasn't going to be easy but I have so much respect for each and every pixel artist out there who is making it all look so effortless.

After 2 years of hard work we're almost ready to launch!

Isle of Finbari is all about life in a small village. Mysterious characters come to visit with riddles and mazes to solve for rewards. All the NPCs are personality-driven and as you get to know them you will understand them better - they all have a story to tell, and if you date them they might just randomly propose.

The village has so much to offer - the arcade is full of playable mini games to try to beat the high scores. There is also a clothes shop, furniture store and garden centre.

A robot dog companion can be trained to follow you around the village and play fetch with you on the beach while you collect the washed up rubbish to take to the recycle centre.

Everyone in the village cares about the planet and the creatures on it. There are no swords for sale in the general store so you will have to find different ways to navigate the caves - maybe your leaf blower will be more useful
