Why is there so few WW2 flight sims out there ?

Outside of the big 3, War Thunder, Il-2 and DCS, there is really nothing at all. Why do you think this is the case ? There is a lot of demand for a new title.

What would you like to see ? One that takes the War Thunder approach of accessibility yet maintaining good realism ? Multiplayer ? Singleplayer ?

Would you guys play a world of warships clone with no subs, and old CV's ?

I was intrigued by the reactions to the playercount video by flamu.

Right now there is really no games like world of warships, but what if there was ? What could we learn from WG's mistake to make the perfect clone ?

I'm a game developer, this would be something right in my alley. If just want to see if there is a real interest in this.

Some TT lines are so blatantly underpowered and unpopular, why isn't wargaming buffing them ?

The british heavy cruisers, the japanese light cruisers, spanish cruisers, german DDs.

What possible reasons is there for wargaming not to give a little buff to those ships? It wouldn't make them lose any profits

What if they introduced a slow build mode, to bring back defensive building like it was in C1S1

I was one of the OG and played during season 0-4. During that time, building was a lot of fun because it wasn't sweaty yet, we would try to build bases on advantageous position, grenade launchers were a lot of fun to use. We were building actual forts back then.

I would love to re experience this again, and one way they could do it is to make build slower. Of course they would have to figure out a way to not make this too frustrating to use, and this is not an easy problem.

I don't think zero build players have a problem with the actual building mechanics, it's just the way it became past season 5, super sweaty, high skill, crazy fast, and really over the top. Building little forts and creating a defensive position for the next 5 minutes is actually a ton of fun, and was what made me feel in love with fortnite 8 years ago.

Found the fix to mysterious crashes when gaming.

My legion pro 7i (rtx 4080) had been crashing for a really long time now, i consider myself tech savy and i tried ao many things to no avail. I had these UE5 crashes all the time, sometimes 20 min after starting the game .

What actually worked was lowering the vram clock with msi afterburner. At first -500, then i slowly increased it and it's now completely stable at -200.

I hope this helps someone, i know i would have really appreciated knowing this earlier, i msut have spent a good 50 hours doing test and trying to solve it.

After installing a 1.5 inverter hp AC, bill jumped from 6k to 11.5k, I'm flabbergasted

I expected the price to be higher, but not THAT much higher. This is the only ac running in our home, pretty much 24/7 Any tips ?

I'm new to this game, here is my first super turret, with 6 cannons firing in sequentially 2 rounds per second

I was a bit sad to see the lack of proper turret mounted weapons, no auto aim machine guns, no high velocity cannon, no autocannon as well (the flak does not really count).

This setup absolutely slaps tho

What, is, objectively, the best way to use 30-40k doubloons every year ?

My main goal is to aquire new interesting ships. I don't care about skins at all.

Are christmas crates better value than battlepass ? What about dockyard ? What about limited events like black friday ?

Are some mechs really as bad as they seem ?

I'm talking about those mech like the Charger, Dragon, Cicada. They does not seem to have any real strength, and their firepower leaves a lot to be desired.

Forgive me if I insulted your favorite mechs, I am new to this game and I might have missed something.

What is the point of having mechs that are so weak no sane player would chose them ?

Any chance that double uptiers are removed in the future ?

The cruiser heal buff gives me hope that wargaming sometimes does what's best for the community. Full uptier are one of the biggest detriment to the game, and are something that actively push new players away, has there ever been any talk about removing it ?

Stuck with a shitty thrustmaster base what to do?

I own a warthog, but as you all know, the throttle is great, the stick is alright but the base is ass. I was exploring several options and I am not so sure which would be best.

Option 1 : attempt to repair the warthog base. I saw that you could use sandpaper and grease to make it feel better, i just don't know if it would actually be worth it.

Option 2 : buy a more pricey base from another brand. I would be happy to pay around 150 for a compatible base but the only one i found so far is the virpil at 250.

Option 3 : discard the warthog and purchase a vkb gladiator. I just don't like to throw stuff away and would rather keep using the flight stick which is fine on its own.

DD's are not good because of the high mobility, torping a good players is very challenging.

Cruisers are not good because their armor scheme is very good and makes HE spamming inefficient.

Battleship do okay but you have to stay passive and at range, your whole team dies by the time you sink one of them.

What to do ?

It really set my expectation regarding luck and low percentage, i'm not special haha. At first I was like come on a ship, come on, now I just expect signals or economic bonuses every time
