Hi, it’s me again hahah

I’m officially 14 weeks post op. I still have swelling on and off in my cheeks, especially when chewing. I am regaining feeling in my chin and lip and the tingling feeling is starting to lessen. The roof of my mouth is still numb af but that’s to be expected since they cut it into three and a lot of my upper teeth are numb.

I do feel like my face is a lot more balanced and I find when talking it’s a lot easier to smile which I feel like has made me look more friendly.

I also over analyze the shit out of myself so when looking at these photos I don’t feel like there is a change but at the same time my face does feel unfamiliar. Idk

But overall, I am very happy with my outcome and I look forward to the swelling going away and getting my braces off.

Officially 12 weeks post op!
Most of the swelling is gone, my lower jaw still swells up but that’s to be expected for a while.
I’m starting to regain feeling in the roof of my mouth and the left side of my lip and chin.

I’ve also lost 30lbs since some of the before pictures. 10 lbs of that was cause of the surgery.

I was advanced 5mm in the upper jaw, advanced 2mm in the lower jaw and had a clockwise rotation due to my nearly negative occlusal plane. I also had my upper jaw expanded.

It’s so weird cause so many people have been saying I look good but can’t quite pin point it what’s different or that they didn’t recognize me.

We would just throw anything and everything we had around on and take funny mirror pictures. I never seemed to make a normal face😂
