What went wrong here?

I felt good about this until I finished and really looked at myself... What did I mess up? Is it the lip color? I feel like my eyes actually look good and subtle, I didn't want anything crazy.... Am I just being insecure? Did something actually go wrong?

Does this way of doing my brows suit me? Should I go a different direction?

So, I went to Ulta Beauty today to get some advice and guidance on what to do with my brows as they're finally growing out and back to something more normal and untouched. They aren't perfect but they're at the point where I can fill them in minimally until I can go ahead and get them properly shaped. She just did a quick fill in so I could get a decent idea of the shaping and how to make them look close/similar to each other.

Does this work? Should I do it differently? Advice?

What kind of makeup should I be doing?

So, I posted earlier on today with the makeup that I had done this morning and overwhelmingly it seems it did not turn out as good as I thought it had in the moment. The most common critique I saw was about the blending of my eyeshadow, and looking at it I can see where everybody is coming from. There were some comments about how my eyeliner had looked, as well as the lip I chose not looking good.

So, I'm going to ask for advice and suggestions on how I should go about makeup in the future, what kind of things would suit me, etc

I included a picture of myself without makeup, my look I did today and the other recent makeup I've done. I would include more but I can't find the other photos right now.

Advice and opinions on my current routine?

So, this is all that I'm currently using right now and I just wanted to get some thoughts and opinions on what I could change, or could be doing better. I also included a photo of my face to show what my skin looks like.

I am 25f, I get a lot of oil in my t zone, I get dryness on my cheeks, I get blackheads all over my t zone, I get redness occasionally in my cheeks.... I'm so frustrated with everything, my skin looks rough.

Also, I wash with the la Roche posey purifying cleanser, since it's not pictured. I'm not everyday regular as I struggle a lot with skincare at this point due to my mental health, but I am getting it every other day at the very least. Sometimes twice a day. I'm working up to getting better at taking care of my skin again and I just don't have the knowledge for it anymore.

Does this makeup actually look good? Or am I delusional?

I felt like doing makeup today so I did something fun colorwise. Maybe I should have done something more pinky than coral toned, in my room when I was doing the makeup I didn't realize it was so corally, I mean personally I don't think it looks bad though?

I think the lip is throwing me off, I couldn't figure out what color to do, but a nude felt like it wouldn't look good. I think my complexion looks good despite the acne and scarring you can see through it in some spots. I might have disgusted my blush too much as it's not super visible here in the picture, but my bronzer definitely helped as my foundation was just a touch too light for my skintone, but I think it was my winter shade too lollll

Old looks I've done; should I go back to this kind of makeup?

I've mentioned in some comments at the very least that I used to work at Sephora and then Ulta Beauty. In that time period I was much more explorative with my makeup and was doing it almost daily vrs now where I'm half assed to do anything. Should I go back to doing this fun vivid makeup? Should I be more expressive with my looks?

I'm 25f, have a 5yo son, and work as a teacher for an aftercare program. I'm going into cosmetology hopefully this upcoming year, it depends on when a wait-list slot opens up. And yes, I did often use filters, but that's usually the only way I took pictures. They don't hinder the looks in terms of how stylistic I was lol

Are these growing in well?

I posted here like a week or so ago I think, my grows have been growing back quick that I expected (much darker in person but couldn't get a better picture), do they look like they're growing back in nicely? Any recommendations for shaping once they're at a place where I can do so? I prefer thinner brows personally, but I don't want them to be tiny at the same time and I think I got pretty bad brow blindness when I was regularly plucking and shaving them down. I used to have a slit in the shorter brow as well.

I feel like I look ridiculous, I don't know....

Does this suit me? Tips or advice?

Pictures flipped weird but this is the makeup I've done today, I loved it inside but being in natural light I feel like I didn't do as good as I thought :/

Did I mess up? Advice?

Is this a bald spot???

Help? I can't figure out what this is? It genuinely looks like my hair is falling out? But I don't think it has been? I have been using Dae lately... Should I stop?

Edit: I use the Dae signature shampoo and conditioner. I also have been trying out a k18 strengthening oil and the Gisou hair oil. I'm wondering if too much oil is getting to my scalp.... I'm unsure. I'm going to stop using the Dae as I've been noticing intense scalp irritation that my nizoral does not solve (this is a product I've always used, nizoral, that is not the problem). I don't know, maybe too much buildup, or something else.... I'll just have to mess around and find out

Relapsed

This is my first time posting here, I just wanted to go somewhere where I wouldn't be judged or called a freak for this. I've been struggling with sh on and off since I was 12, I'm 25 now. I had been clean since January, unfortunately today I relapsed and I just can't figure out how I feel about it..... I started and I just couldn't stop, and now I'm sitting here staring at it like what have I done I mean wth is wrong with me yk I had been doing so well, not even thinking about it and then I just had a really bad episode :/ I hate this

I've also gone with possibly triggering for the flair bc idk if it's going to be hard for some to read or not.... Just kind of needed to get this into the void, because I know if I talk to anybody I live with, friends nearby or family that it's not going to go over very well....

I need to get this out of my system....

I'm going to apologize before I get into anything because I'm using the speech to text feature to write this as I simply cannot get myself to type right now. The way I'm feeling today after an argument with a friend is just horrendous. I feel like the worst person in existence for how I ended up responding to them in regards to a scenario we were talking about in a private discord server

Some context that I'm going to include is that I have been diagnosed with BPD since I was 18 years old. I am now 25.

I roleplay with two other people and recently we've been wanting to do stuff with the saw franchise. One friend mentioned shipping their oc with a canon that I myself fixate on a lot. I was okay with it at first, but one of their responses really upset me and I lashed out, I started making things about me, saying I was uncomfortable, that they can't talk like that, that I don't like it....

I realized after they reacted that I was entirely wrong and I apologized. I explained how I was feeling and explained that even though I was feeling that way I should not have taken it out on that and that I'm going to work on avoiding that in the future. Their responses to my apologizing and by trying to explain the situation kept being: it's fine. Don't worry about it, I don't have to write for any of this, I don't want to cause any problems and so on and so forth.

I feel like the worst person in the world I feel like they're going to leave me. I feel like they won't want to talk to me anymore and I feel like I can't fix it and I don't know what to do. I don't know if I should be trying to talk to them about it again cuz it's only been barely an hour since this happened but it's just so much for me and it's really affecting me negatively to the point where I can't function right now and I don't love some of the things that my brain is coming up with

I'm sorry for such a long run on post. I needed to get this out of my head and into somewhere to help at least believe some of the anxiety and pain that's been continually stifling through me since this happened. I'm open to any suggestions or advice if anybody has anything to say or for anything that I can do to improve in the future. I unfortunately don't have its therapy appointment until the 17th of this month and I am unable to get something sooner so I unfortunately am a bit of an emotional messed up limbo right now.

I feel horrible, I mean, what's wrong with me? Why did I react like that? Why am I such a horrible friend? I'm terrified I'm going to lose both of them because of this and it's tearing me apart, I can't breathe, I can't function, I just want to disappear..... I hate this and I hate feeling like this.

Advice for how to improve my skin?

Hi! I'm 25f and currently the most skincare I do is wash with La Roche Posay Purifying Cleanser. I'm trying to figure out how I can improve my skin I just can't look at myself in the mirror and be happy with the way it currently looks. I'm including photos, however it's a little hard to see what I'm talking about in some of the pictures.

My nose is covered entirely with blackheads, I've tried popping them and they just come back, I'm not sure what products to use. Pore strips have never helped me in the past, I've also noticed I will get black heads on my forehead and around my chin and mouth too. It's frustrating because it feels as though my skin is just dirty and gross. I've also noticed I will also just randomly get pimples, and I struggle to not pick at them.

I find I have oily/combination skin. My t zone is almost always covered in oil, my cheeks can get dry and peely.

I struggle to be consistent with skincare due to poor mental health, but I really would like to be able to look at myself and be happy with what I see. At this point, I'm really just looking for advice and tips, I may book a dermatologist appointment down the line, though.

Any advice is greatly appreciated and I thank you all in advance! (Also yes I know my eyebrows are bad, chronic plucker, growing them back out)

Small lump along butt crack?

Hi, this is like super weird and uncomfortable but it's been raising questions for me for over a year now and my doctor hasn't given me anything about what this might be.

I'm 25f and about 215lbs, along the upper left side of my butt, along the crack, there is a hard pea sized lump there. No pain, no redness, in fact it looks almost white under the skin. I've had this for as long as I can remember, and I don't know if it's something I should be worried about. If it doesn't hurt, and it's not moving around and has stayed the same size for the entire time I can recall having it, is it something I should worry about?

There's genuinely no pain at all, it doesn't hurt to touch, it doesn't hurt if I push my nail against it, nothing..... What is happening? Any ideas? Should I make an appointment or ask at my next visit coming up?

Also... Tagged NSFW wasn't sure if it should be or not

I've ruined my brows, I think

For the longest time I was plucking my brows a bit thinner as I've always like the thinner look, and for my one eyebrow I had done a slit through it. That was going very well for a very long time then I think I got eyebrow blindness or something because I made the split too big, lost the tail then said fuck it and removed the rest of the tail.

I tried to make the other one match, it didn't work. I can't fill them in without them looking super weird, I don't know how to get them to grow back, I don't even know if they will grow back nicely because of how long I've been plucking them.... What can I do?

Are the products I'm using even good?

I've been searching forever for good hair products, things to help take care of my hair and have it look good while and I just feel like I can find the right product.

Currently I'm using Dae signature shampoo and conditioner. I use Amika Dream Routine as my leave in and Gisou hair oil. My hair is so smooth and silky, but I have no volume. It gets frizzy later in the day but it seems like that's just humidity....

I'm not sure if I should be switching and trying something else.... Any advice is greatly appreciated. I have wavy hair that's dry from bleaching and dying.

What can I do to make this more red?

So, I recently went from purple to red, but unfortunately for some reason it's still reading really purple in some parts when I'm wanting a more cohesive all over red instead of some sort of ombre.

I have two photos of my current hair and two photos for my inspo and the direction I want to go. I did a bleach bath to remove as much purple as I possibly could before going red. That ended up fading to a purplish color and I went over it with more color, the ends turned into this darker purple color. It's been about four or five days since I colored it last, so maybe two or three washes.

I do not want to bleach again, I don't want to use color remover, I just want this to be red all over, even if it's darker than my inspo. What can I do?

(Note, my hair is damp in these photos, and yes I know my ends are bad and need to be cut, I'm getting a hair cut soon)

Did I ruin my hair? (Color wise)

So, I had purple hair that I bleach bathed to aid in making it easier for red to stick. I probably should have done a second bleach bath as the color has lifted to a blueish teal color, however it was light enough that I thought it would be okay. I put a cherry/wine red kind of dye mixture on it and it was cute, though the roots and the rest were basically different colors.

I redyed it today because it was looking purple to me, so I mixed up a slightly darker variation of the original dye I had done, just.made sure it was more crimson. My hair looks almost black and I'm so upset.... Did I mess up?

Pictures involved are the purple, to what the color looked like after I did the bleach bath and went red, the color after about maybe three washes, then my hair now. I know the texture looks rough in how my hair is now, I'm doing a night mask to help with that, and hopefully this fades closer to the color I want so I can avoid touching it for awhile... I really wanted a pretty like darker cherry red, this reads more like red black or black cherry to me....

Seeking advice on how to better take care of my hair

Hi! So, I'm seeking advice to better take care of my hair. I have about medium thick hair, but I have a lot of it. My hair is damaged as I've been coloring it since 2020, though I've only recently grown it all back out after having pixie and short cuts for years. I've had longer hair for almost two years now.

I would say my hair isn't curly or kinky, likely between 1c and 2a. A bit of wave, but nothing crazy. I get a fair bit of shedding, however I'm prone to wear my hair up in ponytails and buns. I'm trying to switch to low loose ponytails and claw clips to reduce this as much as possible, though from what I know shedding from this is normal. I do not use any heat on my hair, I always let it air dry after scrunching it with a towel so it is not soaking wet. When I can, I use a satin or silk pillowcase.

I take a women's multivitamin daily (women's one a day) as instructed by my doctor as my iron saturation levels are low. Nothing else is low in regards to iron. My vitamin d was low for years (15 when it should be 30) but I've since fixed that and it hasn't been a problem.

Currently, I'm using Dae signature shampoo and conditioner on my hair alongside Amika Dream Routine and Gisou hair oil, I also use k18 molecular repair oil. My hair feels silky, but it feels as though it has no volume, I want to have hair that's healthy and has some volume to it too, if possible. I don't know if it's the products I'm using, or if it's that I have colored hair.... I'm not sure what to do.

I only just started using these products, before I was using V&Co wave babe shampoo and conditioner paired with shea moisture daily hydration leave in conditioner and shea moisture ultra moisture and nourish hair oil. My hair didn't feel bad when I used these products, but it wasn't silky and it seemed I still had some frizz (which I mean isn't the end of the world but it's not exactly appealing, to me at least).

I don't color my hair super often if I can help it. Before this color I was a deep violet purple. I had done a bleach bath to lift it enough to put this reddish color on. I'm attempting to go to a nice deep wine/cherry red but I'm trying to do it with as little damage as possible.

What should I do? Are there any products I should try? Things I should avoid? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I apologize for this lengthy post, I felt this was all good information to share in regards to my hair for the best advice. Thank you!!!
