Could using '送死' in a game title be considered inappropriate in China?
Hi, I translated the title of my game "Dungeonery" to Chinese. Because the original title was difficult to translate literally, we used 地牢送死队, which, as I understand, means "Dungeon Fodder Squad". I like the name, but I'm concerned that some of the characters can also carry meanings related to death, suicide etc. which could cause issues on Chinese social platforms.
The game is cartoony and light in tone, with dry (and sometimes dark) humor.
I'm also considering two alternatives:
- "谁来下地牢" (Who's Going Down the Dungeon?)
- "地牢乱斗团" (Dungeon Mayhem Squad)
Do you think 地牢送死队 is risky, or are am I overthinking it? Would the second or third option be more appropriate? I would love to hear any other suggestions you might have.

Mimic is one of the bosses in my game! How does it look?
First time posting about my roguelike autobattler! Wanted to capture that "saturday morning cartoon" style!
It's a roguelike autobattler where you traverse the dungeon, build your team and discover some crazy synergies.
Everything is hand drawn by me. I’ve always loved the style of ’90s and 2000s cartoons, and I wanted to make a game that captured that look since you don’t often see that kind of art style.
