Study permit extension or PGWP application?

So my study permits is expiring March 20, 2027, my last program and last semester is December 2026, which I will be finishing school.
Someone told me that I need to apply for a study permit extension before I can apply for a PGWP but I do know that I have 90 days till my permit expires and should still be in the time limit to apply for my PGWP. Was there any new update updates that might not be known very well?

Advice as follow

Hey everyone so I finish my final semester and class this year December 2026, and my study permit is expiring March 14, 2027. I know there’s usually a little bit of a gap before the study permit expires. I don’t know why I got a short study permit expiration as my friend and course mate’s study permit is expiring in September 2027, which is quite a distance from when we are finishing school.

So now my question is if anyone has had this issue before as I would be applying for my PGWP mid January in hopes of getting it before my study permit expires so I can still be in the country.

And if you think any issue would arise.

2026 Tax updates or an error on Wealthsimple part??

I originally applied to my tax return February 23, 2026 and got my return in March 2026. Now June 8, 2026, and I logged into my Wealthsimple 2025 tax and I’m seeing an amount quite higher than what I got previously without making any change whatsoever to the file.

Now I’m confused on why that is. Now I applied my t2202 to the file and it suddenly dropped like crazy still I’m not owing anything though.

I’m confused on what’s happening though.
