Title. Wondering if the oatmeal fans out there know anything about this.

Fretting over tire size and wondering if it’s even that big of a difference. Any experience or thoughts on if one is better than the other?

Terrain is entirely flat, 90% pavement and 10% wooded trail. Commute distance 5mi. Like to kick off a few curbs and bunny hop here and there.

Edit: I’m going from a 2.8” knobby to a non-knobby (either 2.2 or 2.5)

Office job, and I wear a backpack that has a laptop and a few notebooks in it for work. I dress business casual and my current backpack causes a good amount of sweat.

Upper midwest climate, open to any suggestions.

Is getting some bike bags/rack the way to go?

Just looking for a place to get a tune-up. I’m over on the east side of things. Anyone have experience with Denny’s in Okemos, or the Bike Shop on MAC?
