Just came back from the ER

This was on my ct:

There is a hyperdense masslike area/collection in the

lower portion of the right breast measuring 4.2 cm with a density of

95 Hounsfield units.

They said get an ultrasound ASAP. Should I be worried? I've had for a bit but my mom always told me not to worry. I am 21 no family history of breast cancer that I am aware of. I do have endometriosis.

I took reglan for 8 months, it just started 2 days ago

Help me, oh my god tell me this goes away soon. I haven't slept. It started two nights ago. I can't sleep, today it's happening during the day. I took reglan, 5mg twice a day for 8 months. NOTHING. I had surgery on Wednesday, this set in Saturday night. I was put under, I was given Dilaudid, fent, and tramadol. The tramadol I took for two days and hated it bc it made me so sleepy. I can't get comfortable I feel like I want to rip my skin off. Do I go to the ER??? Is this permanent?? Everything online says this permanent.

Reglan causing akathisia

Hi all, I want to start this by saying I don't have Gastroparesis. I take reglan because of another medication I take that does cause slow motility. It is also for my chronic nausea as zofran does not work for me. I've been on relgan since November. On Wednesday of last week I had a procedure where I was given general anesthesia and tramadol. Starting two days ago at night I was getting restless leg syndrome. I couldn't sit still or sleep. Today I'm getting it all day. I can not sit still. It's annoying. What do I do? The reglan helps me so much but I can't live like this. Will this go away if I power through?

Edit to aid: I'm thinking this is not from the relgan but RLS. I went back in surgerical notes and I lost a bit of blood, not enough for a transfusion but not small amount either. I think I have low iron. Gonna eat a fat ass steak and see how I improve.

My question was anyone else diagnosed this way? How do I say fucking you to GI for shoving me off as an endo patient for a year and a half.

36 hours till endometriosis surgery

Hi! So title says it all, surgery in 36 hours. Obviously like any good emetophobe I am petrified of vomitting post surgery, that is the ONLY thing I'm worried about atp:) the worst part is I have EVERY risk factor for PONV, I get awful motion sickness, my mom has it bad, it's an abdominal surgery, I'm a woman etc. the best part? Zofran doesn't work on me:) Learned that one the hard way 😭

Doomed

Spent the night at my boyfriends house, apparently during the night his mother started vomiting and having diarrhea. She didn't tell either of us and we both used the toliet. I have surgery in 10 days to help my endo, if I have the stomach bug that will likely have to be cancelled. The last time I had the bug I was bed ridden for 2 weeks and that's what started all of my chronic shit. I literally want to sob. It could be good poisoning or the parasite but I honestly doubt it knowing my luck.

IM NOT SELLING TICKETS// Can I get a refund for a medical issue?

I have had GI issues for a good long while, I bought tickets in November. Even sprang for VIP bc air conditioned bathrooms (Not even joking, flaring in a porta potty is HELL). Well in February endometriosis was brought up to me, and they wanted me to get surgery ASAP. So I'm scheduled for July 29th, and it's like 50/50 if I'll be okay bc this is abdominal surgery! My question is if I'm not okay, will riot do a refund due to circumstance? My doctor originally told me she thought I'd be okay but is now having doubts due to certain issues I have. I can't move the surgery bc August is the only slow month at my job and they can't really afford me not being there.

IUD or pill

I'm get my lap on the 29th and my specialist offered to place an IUD well I was under. I am currently telling lo loestrin but she wants me to switch to a progesterone only birth control form. I'm honestly looking for advice. I'm on the fence. For reference I am EXCELLENT about taking meds, I have to take 10 meds a day already so removing one isn't like a big deal to me. I'm just curious if anyone finds symptoms better with the IUD vs the pill.

Also my doctor is super easy to get ahold of so if something goes wrong it can be removed same day.

Post op expectations

Okay so let's say two months post op what should I expect pain wise? I happened to have bought tickets to fest in November 2025, the fest is last week Sep 2026, and endo wasn't even brought up till Feb 2026. My sugery is July 29th. Do we think I will be able to mosh? I know this may sound insane to some but I looked in ada for this fest and apparently it isn't great. I just want to know to expect. Also I am going with my boyfriend and we will getting a hotel will I be okay for the,,, uh deed? I also have another nsfw question but it's a bit dirtier so I'll only ask it if someone wants to try and answer.

Woke up to hearing my dad puking

My dad was in the shower (which OFC is next to my bedroom), I'm hearing him cough up a lung and then before I can react I hear the sound of retching and puking. I don't know if he made it too the toilet. I don't if he puked in the sink. I don't know if it was in the shower. He is not a puker, my whole family is the same way. We can puke once and it still be a bug. He's also an insanely dramatic puker. The worst part? He wouldn't tell me if he puked in the shower, toliet or sink. So I cant bleach it just to be safe (which any sane human would do) and guess what he won't either! The bug has been going around like a wild fire in my area too, so the chances are large. I ofc haven't showered today, or I'd just use our other bathroom.

Edit: it's been 6 hours and he only puked the one time but said his stomach still hurts. He's sleeping and has been all evening despite picking at a dinner. I bleached the whole bathroom to be safe.

I think it's important to mention when I got the stomach bug in dec 24 it was because I made the decision not to bleach as doctors had told my boyfriend he had food poisoning. I was encouraged by him and family to "not be so anxious" and decided to just clean with normal products instead of bleach (I am allergic to it). Anyway 48 hours later I end up in the ER in pain so bad they thought my appendix had burst and I was dying. I also don't just have emetophobia I have Nosophobia which plays a role into this evening.

It took me 1 month to be diagnosed

Hi! I am here to say if anyone is in the Chicagoland area, I have a recommendation for an amazing specialist. Here was my time line:

- been having debilitating symptoms for about a year.

- Feb 11th I brought up endo

- Feb 13th I had an ultrasound (they found nothing)

- Feb 19th I was given a referral to my specialist

- Mar 16th I see the specialist, start orilissa. Was diagnosed based of symptoms with endo and PFD.

- Mar 31st I fail orilissa with high bps of 160.

- April 14th the schedule my lapro for July 29th.

Dr. Shashwati Pradhan is my normal OBGYN

(Orland park University of Chicago)

Dr. Hannah Ryles is my endo specialist

(Ingles University of Chicago)

I must stress I had not pursued or brought endo until that Feb 11th appointment. These beautiful people took me so seriously with no family history, they just trusted my symptoms. Dr. Ryles is also sooo down to earth and so sweet, she scheduled an appointment with me for a month before the surgery in case I have any questions that come up. You unfortunately need to referral to see her so I recommend Dr. Pradhan who also immediately believed me.

If anyone has any questions or wants me to go in detail about a specific appointment I will!

Success story ✨

Hi all!! I just wanted to post a positive story because I remember being in the thick of it with c diff.

Some background first, I have IBD and endometriosis so I had tummy issues going into this whole deal.

Back in early July 25, before IBD and Endo diagnosis, I was struggling to figure out what was causing my stomach issues. I was ill pretty regularly. They found out I had a bout of colitis and a UTI at the same time. I was put on another 1500 mg of antibiotics twice a day for TWO WEEKS (literally insane btw), they wanted to rule out my colitis being infectious so we could formally diagnose me with IBD. Well on my 21st birthday, after my first ever (and last 😔) drink I started having violent diaherra. I just assumed this was the consequences of drinking with my stomach. Well one day goes by, now two, by three I'm realizing something is horribly wrong. This is when I'm diagnosed with c diff. The next months that followed were rough!! For about 3 months all I ate were egg and cheese sandwiches bc it was the only thing that didn't make me blow up. Eventually I could slowly start adding things in, I am about 10 months post infection (?) and I can eat pretty much everything. I just got dairy back in late January. I mean today I just had Chili's for dinner!!!

Anyway, it gets better! My stomach is unfortunately not 100% but that's due to my other issues as well. That being said my day to day is sooo much better. I wish every one quick, painless, and fast journey of healing ✨

Please taking advantage of emetophobia

SEEMS LIKE THE AUTO MOD TOOK MY POST DOWN THIS IS RELATED TO EMETOPHOBIA BC IF I DIDNT HAVE IT THIS SITUATION WOULDN'T BE HAPPENING. I WILL KEEP REPOSTING THIS THANK YOU!

Hi! I am currently in a special hellscape. My mom takes advantage of the fact that me and my dad have emetophobia. Currently we are travelling 1.5 hours to my sister's graduation. My parents hate each other and have been fighting ALLLLLL morning. After we boarded our dog for the weekend she got back in the car and claimed to be EXTREMELY nauseous and about to throw up. She will not take a zofran from me bc she believes if she needs to vomit she should, I disagree bc it would ruin her other daughters graduation if we have to turn around. Unfortunately my dad is the kinda person that if one person pukes, he's next. She is petty enough to go all the way, I'm not joking. I unfortunately forgot my headphones so if she puked I'm fucked.

I can't tell if she's being dramatic or not, she keeps taking sips of her coffee and dramatically going "I can't drink this!! I'm so nauseous!!" But KEEPS DOING IT.

Edit to add: I forgot to mention she has all the snacks with her, I take a med that prevents me from eating for 30 minutes after taking it. I didn't get to eat breakfast due to the this and rushing, we are always rushing. She is holding the snacks hostage bc she's to nauseous to move. If I don't get the snacks I won't eat till 7pm and my chronic illnesses will not be happy about that. I'm already on a severe Gastritis flare due to stressing about my last final last week.

Dilution + Steroids

Okay so about a month ago I was given prednisone for 5 days, immediately after it was given to me I ended up having another med cause me 160+bps so I put off the steroid. Would the dilution method plus steroids plus Flonase be an effective method?? I just want off the roller coaster ride but I can't lose sleep. I am barely sleeping as is because I have to wait and redose till I can sleep and my nose needs to be perfectly unstuffed. I'm starting to think I won't be able to get off ever. should I wait till after allergy season? I need significantly less afrin in the winter but idk if I can wait.
