Evergreen Tech Collective

Hey Evergreen Reddit Peeper — wanted to share something we’ve been slowly building up here.

A few months ago, we started Evergreen Tech Collective, a casual monthly meetup for people around Evergreen, Conifer, and the foothills who work in tech, product, engineering, design, AI, cybersecurity, startups, IT — or are just interested in that world.

The idea is pretty simple: there are a surprising number of interesting people doing cool things up here, but most of us would probably never cross paths otherwise.

We’re heading into our third meetup this October, and we’ve also started a Slack community so people can stay connected between events. It’s meant to be useful but low-key — share job postings, interesting articles, ask for advice, find someone working on something similar, organize a ski or bike day, or, realistically, borrow a ladder from another tech person who happens to live down the road.

Interesting new gadget.

I added a small aluminum reflector behind it, facing towards my router, to increase the wifi signal as it was blinking in and out of signal...and it's been steady ever since.

Natural sluice

I built a mock sluice wanting to keep it natural . I know bits not really what high efficiency folks would do, but I’m catching really good gold and I guess that’s all that matters. What do yall think?

So I was blessed to be away for one week and I was concerned these two tall girls would be touching the lid when I returned ..so it was. I pulled them outside last night to give them more room to Streeeetch:)

So Simple, so I posted a few days ago about this copper collar &..

Bro science and all. The overwhelming majority of comments being positive w some even adding support for this simple method. Being reddit is an interesting troll habitat several scoffers who have never tried this idea condemned it to be impossible or general negativity. Later that day I decided to try a 50/50 test on two tomatoes and two garlic plants as all my cannabis plants are already w a copper collar.

The two tomato plants (from seed) were the same size in separate containers about 8' apart in the same area w nearly identical soil and care. The two small garlic plants were of the same starter clove & in the same container and nearly identical in size however the radish next to one of these plants was towering over the garlic closest to it. I installed one copper collar on the garlic that was closest to the radish and would receive less sunlight because of this (adding to its challenges). The tomato plants were so identical in size I just picked one to get the copper collar.

So today is about 4 days into this 50/50 comparison.

Please, Please try your own experiment. If you have not tried this and want to talk negatively then that will simply show that you are ignorant of this yet still willing to contribute to an idea that you have no knowledge of.
