I am so confused. Can anyone help make sense of this? I'm assuming the answer is "It's Hollyoaks, they don't care about making sense" but I'll ask just in case:

Question #1: So we are to believe that Jenson escapes from Gemma, rushes to the village, steals her drives, then goes to the woods and BURIES them, then leaves Warren a note and THEN was planning on going to the hospital but he got kidnapped again? Why not just....go to the hospital, tell Warren "Gemma kidnapped me, protect me while I donate bone marrow"?

Question #2: Why did Gemma send Warren TO Jenson, then immediately go to Jenson and say "yo, Warren is coming, you better tell me where those crypto wallets are!" At this point, Gemma AND Jenson know that Warren wants Jenson ALIVE so that Sebastian can be saved. So Warren would come and....save Jenson? Like, how is that a threat?

Question #3: Why did Gemma switch places of her thug and Jenson? Just to give Warren someone to find? The thug clearly disagreed with her wanting to let Jenson go, but I find it hard to believe she couldn't say "Yo, thug, I'm your boss, do what I say." So instead she....has him killed?

Am I the only one that's confused?

I'm so confused about Newman Media, and hope someone can help me. What happened to it?

Here's what I remember: When Phyllis did her dumb A.I. takeover of Newman Enterprises, my understanding was that CAME with Newman Media. The week of February 9th, she promised Billy and Sally she was going to give Newman Media to them.

So what happened to it? If that was her plan, it makes no sense that she'd shut it down BEFORE Victor blackmailed her into giving him back Newman Enterprises (and presumably all its divisions). If she didn't get a chance to sign it over to Sally, why didn't it just go back to Victor when he got everything back?

I realize this show cares about continuity as much as a two year old is sensitive to the nuances of the film The Bitter Tears of Petra Von Kant, but I figured I'd ask!

Hello - In the 6/16 episode of GH, Valentin told Carly he was going to go to the head of the WSB - thus risking imprisonment - and tell him Cullum was a double agent, thus neutralizing his presence at Wyndemere and allowing Josslyn to be rescued.

Why not just send Carly instead? Or even Jack? Why is Valentin the ONLY one that can do this? Did I miss that?

I LOVED the movie. It was so fun and such a love letter to the IP, especially the cartoon.

I'm more of a She-Ra than He-Man fan, so when she showed up post credits I legit screamed. It was SO exciting.

But it's looking like the movie won't make back what it cost...which means we won't get a sequel....which means no She-Ra on the big screen. I honestly feel like an alcoholic who has just been told they can drink with no ill effects...but all the bars are closed. Does anyone else feel this way?

Given Todd McFarlane is so famous/successful/prolific, why do you think DC has never collected his Infinity Inc run - DC Finest - or otherwise?

I just finished Season 5, Episode 6 and have two plot questions I can't seem to find the answer to online:

1. In the season opener, the army shoots some girl running through the woods that they think is Eleven. When they realize it's not her, they indicate that this is not the first time they've shot someone running through the woods that they've mistaken for Eleven. What is the explanation behind this? Is it a random Hawkins citizen trying to escape the quarantine?

2. In Episode 6 of Season 5, Vecna uses Will to figure out Max is in the hospital and sends Demogorgons after her. Why THEN? It's implied that, thanks to Will, he finally knows where Max's physical form is (in the hospital) but weren't there other ways he could have found that out, earlier (i.e. through contact with Holly or any of the other children he was grooming). Is it that he COULDN'T find her until Will (if so, why) or that he didn't BOTHER to try to find her until Season 5, Episode 6 because he was coming off of being pissed at Max for trying to escape with Holly and was like "Damn, this lady is pissing me off, let me deal with her"?

Hi there - mostly a lurker here. 45M, single and thinking about putting myself out there again after many years of not doing so. I'm nervous about it, so I thought some inspiration might come in the form of hearing about how those of you in relationships met your bf/partner/husband. And, because this is a NYC chat, how long and what it took (if something that can be put into words) to GET you to a relationship. The latter is the element I find that NYC in particular (although it's true many places) makes challenging - people not ghosting, looking for something better, etc. Maybe it will help inspire others too!
