The Thugs of Airtel Stocks

Airtel: Let’s increase the prices of prepaid plans

Consumers: That’s terrible news Stock Market: ARPU will go up? Let's go Nothing says bad news for consumers quite like a 3% jump in the stock price.

Airtel removes cheaper plans, raises the effective entry price, and investors celebrate because higher tariffs = higher ARPU. Meanwhile, some Airtel users are probably already thinking, Jio, here I come BSNL, do you still have that SIM?

But hey, who cares about customer churn when the spreadsheet says ARPU + = stock +?

This is the beautiful logic of the stock market, Consumers get a price hike → Airtel gets more money > Investors get excited > Stock goes up And if enough customers eventually switch to Jio or BSNL? Well that’s a problem for future earnings.

Stock market rule > Sometimes the worse the news sounds to the customer, the better it sounds on an earnings call

Should I buy more HDFC Bank stocks or is there a possibility that the price may fall further?

Based on my fundamental analysis, HDFC Bank continues to demonstrate strong financial health, supported by solid revenue growth, a resilient balance sheet, healthy cash flows and consistent earnings performance. The merger with HDFC Ltd. significantly strengthened the bank's capital base and enhanced its long-term growth potential.

In my view, the current weakness in the stock price is likely a temporary phase driven by post merger adjustments and market sentiment rather than any deterioration in the bank's core fundamentals. Given its strong competitive position and long-term growth prospects, I believe HDFC Bank has the potential to deliver sustainable value over the coming years. Therefore, I intend to accumulate more shares if the stock experiences a further price correction.

Avoid Buying Kodak Electronics from Flipkart (Seller: Omnitech) & Kodak Worst Customer Support Experience I've Ever Had

In July 2026, I purchased a Kodak TV from Flipkart, sold by Omnitech. The product listing advertised 512 MB RAM and 4 GB ROM and Flipkart was also charging an additional ₹350 for installation, which i chose not to purchase. The TV arrived through Open Box Delivery and since there was no visible physical damage, i accepted the delivery. However, when i installed the TV myself, i immediately noticed serious issues. The audio quality was extremely poor with sound coming mainly from one side and the TV was noticeably lagging. When i checked the About section in the settings, it surprisingly displayed 2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM and a 2026 software version, even though the product listing showed completely different specifications. To verify this, i checked the storage and found that only about 1.3 GB was actually available with around 171 MB already occupied, making the displayed 16 GB storage appear misleading.

I reported the issue to Flipkart Customer Care on the very same day the TV was delivered. I was informed that a Flipkart technician would visit within two days to verify the issue so that my replacement request could be processed. I waited, but no technician arrived.

When i contacted Flipkart again, they blamed a delay from their backend team and asked me to wait another 2 days. Even after waiting, no one came. On my 3rd complaint, I was assured that my replacement request had been approved and that the TV would be picked up within two or three days. Once again, nothing happened.

When i contacted Flipkart for the 4th time, they completely changed their position. This time, they told me that they could only provide brand support and that the responsibility for replacement rested with Kodak, not Flipkart. This directly contradicted everything they had promised during my previous complaints. After spending nearly 2 hrs on the call, they finally provided Kodak's customer care details.

Unfortunately, Kodak's customer service was even worse. I made more than 50+ phone calls, sent 5 emails and spent 2 days communicating through WhatsApp, yet only 2 of my calls were answered. On both occasions, the representatives barely listened to my complaint before disconnecting the call and repeatedly instructed me to send my complaint through WhatsApp. Every response felt like an automated script, with the same repeated message asking, "Sir, what is your complaint?" without making any genuine effort to resolve the issue.

For 5 consecutive days, I kept contacting both Flipkart and Kodak. Instead of helping, both companies continuously shifted responsibility to each other. Kodak insisted that Flipkart was responsible, while Flipkart insisted that Kodak had to handle the replacement. At one point, Flipkart even advised me to obtain an Autopsy Letter from Kodak if the brand refused to provide service, claiming that only then could they consider my replacement request. I reminded them that I had purchased the TV from Flipkart, not directly from Kodak, and that resolving the issue was ultimately Flipkart's responsibility as the seller's marketplace.

When I raised the complaint again, Flipkart changed its explanation once more, stating that the 7 day replacement window had expired. I pointed out that i had reported the issue on the very 1st day of delivery and that every delay had been caused by Flipkart's own internal processes. Initially, they had promised technician verification and replacement, but after repeatedly delaying the process themselves, they refused to honour those commitments. Whenever I questioned these contradictions, their representatives either blamed an unspecified backend team or claimed they had no information, resulting in inconsistent and misleading responses throughout the entire process.

In my experience, i strongly advise all extreme caution before purchasing Kodak electronic products, particularly when the seller is Omnitech on Flipkart. If your product develops a problem, you may find yourself trapped between the seller, the marketplace and the brand, with each party refusing to accept responsibility. I have already filed an official complaint against Flipkart, Kodak ,and Omnitech through the National Consumer Helpline.

I am sharing this experience solely to make people aware so that they can make an informed purchasing decision and avoid going through the same ordeal.

SME vs Retail IPO listing Gain

It hurts when an SME IPO delivers a bigger listing gain than other individual IPOs.

But it is what it is this is the market and things like this keep happening.

At this rate, SBI skipped lunch and went straight to dinner

The IPO isn't delayed, it's just following the SBI work culture
