1970 Mercedes W108 - rocker arm rests at an angle

Dear all,

When adjusting the valves of my 280 SE (overhead camshaft with rocker arms, M130 engine code), I noticed that one rocker arm rested at an angle against the cam. See pictures above. This made the valve adjustment on that particular intake valve a little tricky, as the feeler gauge would bind on the tight side (no room) and would go loosely in on the other.

No symptoms, no scoring or marks, and I can easily wiggle the rocker arm. It just feels like there is a slight force holding it at an angle when resting. When contacting the lobe, it sits level.

Any ideas? Maybe it’s the little hairpin spring retainer clip which is bent?

I’ve currently set it to a compromise where it’s loose on one side and tight on the other, around 0.10 (spec) in the center.

Any suggestion are welcome.

Just bought Airpods Max 2 - great set! However, is it normal for them to take a while to turn on?

Hi!

I recently picked up a brand new set of Airpods Max 2. Great build quality and great sound quality too. However, I have noticed that every blue moon, they don't actually turn on when being put on. Sometimes, it takes half a minute or so before they actually turn on. Is this normal?

Are the colours alright? Any advice is taken with pleasure

I’ve always loved taking photos during vacations, this time being Geneva. I love colours, but I don’t want the pictures to look plasticy or otherwise bad to look at. I would love to hear from you people if the colours fit the style and/or don’t look all too over the top. I love saturation but not plastic. Thanks!
