The Mulholland Speedster
I had the privilege of being a big part of the build team on this car.
It is the most important car of my career. This car is responsible for a great deal of my growth as a builder.
I’m thinking about my path to where I am now, and thought I’d share.
Thinking about taking off tonight on a me and my dog mental health roadtrip to see my family.
Things have been tough lately, I took the week off, and I’m thinking about going to see my family.
LA county to Sylvania OH.
I like the outdoors, and so does the dog. Love to swim in natural places.
I also like weird stuff and wacky roadside attractions, and local spots.
Not afraid to go out of the way.
Places to shoot, camp, get weird. I’m open to it all.
Anybody got any recommendations if I decide to hit the road tonight?
Also, convince me to go, besides the fact that mom has never met my dog and would be delighted, and mom’s and my dogs will love each other, and it would be nice to see all that. Motivation has been tough to do anything. I need a push.
New to me 2020 Mazda CX 5 cranks but won’t run.
Hey guys. Two weeks ago I bought a 2020 CX 5 with 42,000 miles.
Everything has been fine till today.
I started it, pulled out of a parking space, began to move forward and it dies.
Try to restart, it cranks and fires, but dies immediately for a few times.
Then it started just cranking and not firing at all.
I had it owed home. At home, still cranked and no firing.
It was on about an 1/8 of a tank when the problem happened, so I put 5 gal of gas in it to try again.
It started to fire again, but not run.
Then I got it to run for a minute, so I thought it was a fuel issue. Was gonna fill it up and take it to the mechanic next door to my work tomorrow.
When I tried to start it to go to the gas station, it wouldn’t fire again.
Now it’ll sometimes crank with no fire, and sometimes fire but die immediately.
It’s not throwing any codes.
Any ideas?
One of my favorite moments. 🤣
Humpty’s revenge.
