How in the WOOORLD does this thing work?

Love the concept of what this app does, but honestly, with my ADHD brain when it opens - all the menus kinds make my brain go numb... It's kinda funny actually.

In any event, any change someone might have a relatively "step-by-step" walk through on how to get started, or maybe the main features? Anything like that would be a huge help.

I keep reading about things you can do, but can't figure out how to do them.

I would be grateful for any available guidance.

Chop Choo anyone?

Is there, or has there ever been, a model train collectors simulator? I’d love to see something that emulates the process of building your track and environment. And the collecting different trains seems like it we be very cool.

Gun Stocks for the Non-shooter

I have played for longer than I remember but have NEVER been good at shooters and as much as I’ve wanted to be. But how do you go VR and at not at least give it a shot (sad pun totally intentional)

I have enough experience to believe at least some kind of gun stock could be a big difference than not using one and I want to give this a fair - try? lol.

So first - do you agree with my theory or will it not make a difference?

And if you think it makes enough of a difference is there anyway chance of getting a like starter stock for under $30? No offense to those of you have purchased the really cool expensive ones.

For my married brothers out there think of it like this.

Wife : “Honey what’s this plastic thing you bought but have never touched”

I have to at least be able to say meh it’s nothing.

Thanks for any help?

Ps. (Can you Ps here?) is there a sub or site where people sell used equipment?

Installing games on my Q3

I recently purchased some VR Titles from the Steam sale thinking installing them would be as easy as it is from the Quest store.

That doesn’t seem to be the case unless I am quite possibly be missing something?

All the instructions I’ve read say there haha to be a computer involved which needs to be connected via Ethernet. Is this true? Is there any way around this? Can’t I just load directly onto my headset?

Please enlighten me - grateful for any guidance.

You know the new app libraries?

I’ve created several of them and now have no idea where to access the folders. I assumed they would be in the library but if they are I’m missing them.

Anybody? Help appreciated.

How do I access my app folders.

So one of the app library tools is the ability to drag apps on top of each other to create folders. Great.

But where the hades are the Folders???

Hey! Where’s you go?

So I spend some time putting all my apps in Folgers. Return to the App Library and all my apps are there, but there are no folders?

Are they hiding or am I blind? (Please say hiding, please say hiding)

So my neuro-divergent son has played hours of this game. Today he did an update and apparently it nuked everything he’d done.

Has anyone experienced this or can they make suggestions on how to fix it if

Go here. No go there. No damn it. I meant stop.

Can you? When you’re running between bases, is there a way to just stop. It seems like you’re either moving forward or backward and there is no middle ground.

For instance I’m stealing second when there a fly ball and a question of whether it will fall.

Is there a way to stop and watch the fly so I know if u should go back or forward?

To AI or not AI - do you and why?

Several months ago we started turning off all our digital listening devices, Siri, Alexa etc. It had become so painfully obvious our private conversations were being used because I could mention and interest in a product I'd never thought about a day in my life and wouldn't ya know, I start seeing ads pretty much everywhere immediately. Including here on the Reddits.

So if there is anyone who uses it at least semi-frequently what would you say is the benefit?

Just wondering if there's enough of a benefit to give it a try.

Any feedback appreciated.

Sitting, Standing, Room Scale

Standing, Sitting, room scale

Room scale, sitting, standing

Floating, laying down, doing handstands.

What does it all mean!!!! LMAO

But really I assume the order of their appearance has something to do with it, but to be Frank (hey Frank nice to meet you, even those games which claim to be seated only seem to require some kind of standing or a setting I may not know about but a lot of times the game menus are locate so I have to get up at least to see them and the. I guess sit back down.

I’m not complaint. It is what it is and I’m happy to fit in. I would just like to understand more about the labels if anyone knows.

Thank you for any help or input provided.

So when I got my Meta 3 I activated the 90 days Horizon +.

While I had Horizon, Walk About was both a free offering and had a discounted bundle. I bought the bundle but did not continue the Horizon +.

Now, however, it says I need to repurchase a game I’ve already purchased. I even have the digital receipt.

Feels like a scam especially since I have been completely unable to contact anyone at Meta to help.

Perhaps I am climbing up the wrong tree. Anybody with a lifeline?

Any help appreciated.
