Has your barn ever fundraised for better infrastructure/team things? If so, what worked?
I am just curious if there are any novel ideas out there that really worked for fundraising efforts.
Edit: specifically referring to lesson programs/barns.

It runs currently. I bought it to help move hay and fencing supplies around the farm. And old fellow around the corner bought himself something new and sold this to me fairly inexpensive. But it looks like they either went out of business or the company was bought or something.
I know it'll need some work, but haven't been able to find much online about it.
Brister's trail wagon - I believe 2006?
I am usually so so so good about this. But I am posting hoping I save someone else.
There is a dovorsaddlery.com and Doversaddlery.com
The first one got me. The second is the real site.
The email reciepts looked legit. The checkout was the normal shop/gpay/applepay options most sites give me. It wasn't until I typed the real site in to send another friend that I realized the o vs e in the original link.
Please don't be harsh. I was in a rush this morning, saw a sale on helmets and my kid needed a new one. It seemed real enough. Glad I caught it early. 🤦♀️ Unfortunately not early enough bc I sent 3 friends links but damn.
Stay vigilant out there.
Hoping an Xterra lover wants to take on my ol' girl. I've loved her for so many years, so many adventures, but my life has changed and I had to move to a pick-up truck.
Someone on here had messaged me before but i lost contact somehow. So I figured I would post. Happy to answer questions. Something is up, pretty sure it is the alternator. I have all copies of all maintenance and repairs from the entire time I've had it.
Are there any secure gate latches that open from horseback that the animals themselves won't open willy nilly? Anyone have any experience or recommendations? Or on farm mods? We are refencing the perimeter and I'd love to put in gate latches that I don't have to dismount for in a few spots.
Please and thank you!!
This topic came up on here last year and my lesson barn does one. I make zero money for sharing, I hope it's ok to share. Just remember chatting in the comments about it last year. It fills up fast.
Just thought I'd share the post @rehab_vet on IG
I was reading a comment where someone said they hauled a whole fridge in theirs. I've hauled calves, goats, a couch, probably 100 dogs (I board and foster)
Share a photo of wild things you've hauled in yours!
I recently had to replace mine (opted for a tundra). But my 2011 Xterra will always have a soft spot in my heart.
I love this ride and have missed it the last few times like many people due to it going down.
I understand mechanics age and things need to be replaced, as well as previous supply chain / transport issues for parts. Not mad they keep trying to make it work.
Not mad but Just genuinely curious, it seemed to run smoothly for a while but the last couple years it's a roll of the dice not if but when it will go down. Is this just age? Did they change something at some point in the original coaster (other than theme/branding) that is causing continued issue? Is this just the nature of these types of extreme coasters? (I am glad I rode Kingda Ka before it's removal)
I've seen mentioned about the company that makes?designs? it being known for coaster issues.
Just a life long coaster lover looking to learn more. No shade or judgement, genuine curiousity post.
Having just had to replace my 15yo car, I get it that nothing lasts forever.
Hello! This is my first truck and I'm finding the idea of an easily removable/installable bed cover attractive. I have never owned a truck and doing a little google left me a bit overwhelmed.
2026 tundra 5.5' bed
Whatcha got? Whatcha love? Whatcha hate?
Pro/cons
Many thanks!
I currently drive a 2011 Xterra and she's not what she used to be. I am thinking about looking into 4runners.
I wanted to ask about towing flatbed trailers (mostly for hay purposes or random equipment)
I've never towed before- but I need something to pick up round bales and
I have very little interest in a truck... But I may have to give in... Sell me on the 4runner please.
Anyone on a small farm have any insight on how useful the 4runner is?
What I like about my Xterra currently is interior space. I've put 400lb calves in the back, goats, probably more feedbags that I should. Lumber and rolled cattle panels.
Location Centreville. VA. Stream is Bull Run.
Wasn't sure if a plant fossil or just rock formation.
Thank you!!
