I'll go ahead and say that there's no good/correct ending in GTA 4 which is no doubt what Rockstar intended.

This might be controversial but I pick the deal with Dimitri ending that gets Roman killed. I do this because Niko loves his cousin and Niko did promise Roman that he wouldn't go after Dimitri after Niko rescued Roman. Niko doesn't trust Dimitri at all but again he promised Roman not to go after Dimitri. Kate doesn't want Niko to take the deal, as much as Roman may care about Kate, he'll care about his cousin more in my opinion. It's tragic seeing Roman die literal seconds after getting married and Niko is furious; personally though, I view Kate as the person who should live as she had never done anything wrong in her life.

Kate leaving Niko at the end of the game is tragic yes but I do think it's for the best and makes me like her character a lot more as she sticks to her beliefs and doesn't let herself become like her brothers.

I do believe that this is the ending that makes the most sense. Of course if Niko knew what would happen if he worked with Dimitri again he'd go ahead and kill Dimitri but that's something that can only be known with hindsight.

Again, there's no correct ending in GTA 4, I just wanted to share which ending I pick.

We see Truth slowly getting infected by the grave mind yet he's fully conscious as Arbiter kills him. Even after Chief stops the rings from firing, the grave mind let's arbiter kill truth before turning on them. I get the feeling that the grave mind really despised Truth personally and wanted Truth to be punished for everything he had done. Even the grave mind knew what kind of person Truth of and had enough emotion about the situation and wanted him to suffer. The Gravemind hated the Halo arrays but I think he respected the forerunners for how far they were willing to go in order to defeat the flood. Truth wasn't trying to stop the flood, he was trying to destroy the galaxy to become a god in the eyes of everyone in the galaxy when he knew that it was a lie. Which probably made the Gravemind hate truth the most.
