Omg this Reddit is Slipping so badly 🥺

But the LMK love hasn’t gone anywhere and never will.

Lately, I commissioned someone to put my art on pins again!

So, this time I had my art of the BeyBlade Burst characters in LMK style, as well as my sona ,Kara, drawn as a Lego Monkie Kid character and in BeyBlade Burst artstyle!

The BeyBlade pin had wonky printing so I had to paint Valt’s pants and add a gemstone border to the pin because the printing got the proportions wrong. Now it looks better.

There’s also Goh from Pokémon in the mix too.

I know this is a departure of what the BeyBlade fandom likes and prefers (since the BeyBattles and story is where it’s at) but to be cringe is to be free and I love everything BeyBlade even the ships and self insert ocs as well! I wanted to join the fun! ❤️

Also OC is the same age as Valt so chill ✌️😌 (I’m working on lore for her too!)

Some lore that I got for her is that she’s a French Blader named Kara (Car-uh) Tonnerre (tone-AIR) and she’s a fashion designer that owns a Balance type Bey called Zenko. Her titles are “Lady of Lightning” and “The Femme Fatale of BeyBlade” ♥️🖤 in this art/edit she’s shown to be a tsundere with a diva edge but inside she’s an incredibly kind and shy Blader!

How’d I do? 👀 How did I do the LMK style?

I’ve been drawing digitally since 2024 (I have always been a traditional artist.)

I redrew an art of my Lego Sona, Kara Tonnerre (which is based on me!) from last year now that I’m a bit more used to Ibispaint and drawing on a iPad! 💗

I also included some silly arts I made too! Like putting Kara on a Vogue magazine! ✨

One is made in his canon art style (the felt cloud one) and the other in my own art style (the Perler bead peach one.)

I painted them with acrylic paints and sealed them with a special sealant.

I made the art of him as a chibi them ordered a custom standee and pin with my art on it! <3

If you don’t know, Sun Wukong aka the Monkey King is from Chinese mythology and the story “Journey to the West.” This iteration of Sun Wukong is from the 90’s animated series (Journey to the West: Legends of the Monkey King) because his show is old many westerners don’t really know who he is.

I love him with all my heart! 🧡🧡

So, I got this silly idea to draw Valt, Rantaro (Honcho), and Silas as the Traffic Light Trio! (MK, Mei, and Red Son from Lego Monkie Kid)

Drawing the LMK style is so fun to draw and I did a different shading technique because I didn’t want the art too flat 😅 (the background isn’t the best though)

Because Sandy (another Monkie Kid character) isn’t in the redraw I added a chibi of Cuza and his cockatoo parrot, Carl in the background (to fit the mood of the screenshot lol)

Anyways, I hope you like my art it was my VERY first time doing a screenshot redraw (expect inaccuracies)

This summer has been so brutal to my art 😩

Because of the humidity, the lamination sheets lifted. 🙊 Causing my art to wrinkle and buckle inside of the top loaders.

So, I had to paint on top of the toploaders with acrylic paints and seal them. I also glued the cards inside the toploader, by doing this the cards are no longer interchangeable like before (unfortunately 🥺)

Final repost of them I swear! 😮‍💨 Even though they don’t look perfect I’m glad to see they are fixed now

Everything is handmade in the shrines (except some beads, gems, etc.)

MK is from Lego Monkie Kid (peak show! It’s on YT now so that’s exciting!) 🧡🐵

Valt Aoi is from BeyBlade Burst (my favorite BeyBlade anime, this is Valt in between Burst Surge and Quad Drive/Strike) 💙❤️

I made MK’s earlier this year because his merch is exclusive to LegoLand Shanghai.

Valt is my newest creation! Because similar to MK, his merch is not only Japanese exclusive but quite expensive.

These shrines are made like mini shelves so they can’t close (I learned with MK’d that would scrape off the paint doing that 😅)

Red in the manga’s BirthDay is August 8th so I head canon that in ALL continuities that this is his canon Birthday! ❤️🎂🎉

I made these mini tin shrines of my F/O’s:

MK 🧡 from Lego Monkie Kid (made earlier this year, I actually painted his portrait recently) and Valt Aoi 💙 from BeyBlade Burst (he’s my latest tin shrine)

Since both of their merch is SO SO expensive I decided that this was a fun (and CHEAPER) alternative and look nice on a desk!

So the story is that the laminating sheets I used have lifted and resulted in them wrinkling and getting air bubbles. They didn't look the same like they did a few months ago when I made them.

I finally gave in and painted over the laminate sheets of both crafts with paints and sealant spray to cover the wrinkles and air bubbles.

I really like how they look now! 🧡
These things are proof that I would literally marry MK right on the spot if he was real 🥹
