cant calm down, reflux after fundoplication

Hi, i already posted here about this, im sorry!! i dont want to be annoying but im just really scared:(

so my full fundoplication was 13.05 (exactly a week ago) and im still feeling reflux after eating/drinking

I had LPR and my main symptom was droplets of acid in my throat, i didnt feel heartburn

so now im feeling these droplets after every meal, im very scared that surgery didn't help, i read a couple of stories on reddit where people with LPR said that surgery didnt help them either, so now im terrified that im going to be one of them:(

everyone just tells me that i need to wait, and i need to wait at least a month before we can do some testing like endoscopy / ph study etc. but i dont know how i will even manage to wait.. i feel this after every meal, i cant just ignore it

my surgeon doesn't care, i tried to tell him, he just tells me not to worry about it, how?? if after a week after surgery i can still feel reflux, how will it change with time? it doesn't make sense for me, im devastated :(

i just don’t know how i would be able to wait weeks in the hopes that everything will be okay, if im already feeling like this isnt working

im worried that my fundoplication didnt work

HI, my full wrap fundo was 5 days ago, (i already posted on here about it) but now im worried and anxious, because of my symptoms: (

before surgery:
My main symptom was the feeling of "droplets" of acid in my throat, and from time to time regurgitation.

I did PH study and my DeMeester score was 36,6
(141 refluxes)

medication, diet, lifestyle changes didnt help

chronic pharyngitis and sore throat

after surgery:
im worried because i still feel these droplets of acid in my throat (after eating/drinking) im really scared that my wrap is too loose or surgeon did something wrong, i cant stop thinking about it😔

my throat is damaged (because of a tube that was in my stomach afterwards) and it can be because of that, i know.
But im worried of the fact that droplets of acid still can reach my throat, so i did all of this for nothing?: ( i dont know what to do..

my surgeon kinda ignored my question about this, i l told him everything I felt and about my worries, but he just replied "its ok" in one message, thats it, he didn't explain to me why this is happening

for which reasons Nissen fundoplication may not work for someone?

just curious, like why is this can happen? i’ve seen so much negative reviews on here:(

Like the surgeons don't stitch it up correctly and it ends up too loose?

just had Nissen! need support

Hi, im 17F and i had my first surgery yesterday!
I need support and reassurance because im a SEVERE overthinker🥲

so, after surgery now my biggest fear is that it wouldn't work, like right now its kinda working, but im still scared, because here and there i almost
"feel" acid in my throat for a split second, its like im totally paranoid of this feeling that acid is might come out again despite the nissen..

right now im feeling like someone broke my ribs
G and when im breathing, im feeling something in my chest is "clicking"
also i cant burp, like when im feeling like air is coming up, its painful, i know its common so im not as nervous

i ate farina like 5 minutes ago? and i didnt feel acid, but i felt like it almost returned back (regurgitated?) is this normal? it wasnt bad, but im very nervous!!

also i walk veeery slowly, and its painful to sit/walk with a straight back

from time to time i want to cough, or just feel like my throat is sore, but i think its because of a tube that was in my stomach for 2 days 🫩🫩

i dont know what is normal after fundo, so im really nervous when im feeling something new or different.. i just want some reassurance and encouragement:) thanks!

Help! erosions in stomach

(17F)
I'm very nervous, I had an endoscopy yesterday (I have a fundoplication tomorrow, and I needed to do some tests before it) and they found several pinpoint erosions in my stomach

Im scared because i dont know how they even appeared, im on the blandest diet ever, i dont take any medications that can irritate the stomach and i eat every 3 hours

The only thing is, before the endoscopy, I didn't eat for 18 hours and I was very stressed (the last time I ate was at 7, the endoscopy was done at 1 pm the next day)

I hadn't eaten for so long and was nervous because I didn't even know there would be an endoscopy. They only told me when I arrived and made me wait, i hate this hospital:(

i just need support, im scared and i dont know what to do with these erosions, im scared that they would heal very slowly:(

are you okay with eating sugar after surgery?

so sugar is a trigger for a lot of people (me included) and i have a question for those who had surgery, are you able to eat sugar again? chocolate maybe? ice cream?

im doing fundoplication soon, and sugar had been my biggest trigger, so idk if i would be able to eat it again:(

EDIT: im talking about long term diet after surgery! like months and years after

Video games after surgery (question)

Hi! I know this may sound stupid, but I really need other people's opinions (I have anxiety and OCD, and because of this, I often have strange fears that may even sound funny).

So, I'm having surgery soon (Nissen fundoplication) and I'm worried about whether I'll be able to play video games (like Fortnite for example) I haven't played for a very long time, precisely because of reflux, because these games give me a little stress from time to time (if you play, you know what I mean:))

I have this problem where if I get nervous, my symptoms can get worse. So, my question is:
will I be able to play after the surgery, and will it interfere with my rehabilitation? Like, if I get nervous while playing or something like that, will it be bad for my rehabilitation? Any advice?

Or if I really need to stop playing such games for some time after the surgery, then approximately how long?

any of you also play? I just need some reassurance, im overthinking it a bit too much, sorry if it sounded stupid:((!!

Hi! i need your help with a controller (again)

So recently i posted here about my ps4 controller, i figured that it was a fake one, thanks!! i would be returning it soon.
I texted other store that sells controllers, and they send me a photo, i need help again, is this one legit??

u/JennyZahoo — 13 days ago

its my first controller, on the website that i bought it from it says that is real but idk, maybe some of yall have 100% real one (ps4) so we can compare??

u/JennyZahoo — 14 days ago

so im very often feeling like everything is too much, like im feeling too much emotions at once, too uncomfortable in my body, heart is racing for no reason etc.

it doesn’t feel like panic attack tho, more like everything is too much and i cant calm down, i tried breathing, listening to calm sounds, but it doesn’t work:(

what do you do when u feel like everything is too much? how to calm yourself?

I'm not really good at fortnite tbh😭 I played for a couple of months, then left the game for a long time, then came back again, but now I want to get serious about the game, and I want to try something new, like a controller, and I'm a little worried that it will be hard for me to aim, or that I won't like playing with a gamepad at all :( I'd be glad to hear any opinions!
