I've been thinking about Goro's nipples way too long.

Edit: Goro from Mortal Kombat.

To achieve equal proficiency across all four upper limbs, the Shokan torso is elongated and stacked with two distinct sets of pectoralis major muscles. The upper pecs drive the top arms, while a lower, visible set of raw muscle anchors the bottom arms to a modified sternum.

Shokan males (like Goro) possess vestigial nipples, proving that embryos are conceived using a gender-neutral baseline blueprint before hormonal differentiation occurs.

Shokan females (like Sheeva) possess a single set of breasts sitting over the top pectoral muscles. The lower pecs remain un-breasted, leaving a wide, muscular upper abdomen.

Due to the massive skeletal and muscular frame of a Shokan fetus, internal human-like gestation would severely compromise a female warrior's combat readiness.

Shokan reproduce via internal mammalian fertilization but quickly secrete a leathery, vascular, porous external "womb" egg. This egg absorbs oxygen and nutrients externally, allowing the mother to immediately return to the battlefield.

Managing four independent, quadridextrous limbs requires massive brain processing power. Consequently, the Shokan brain prioritizes a hyper-developed motor cortex at the expense of the prefrontal cortex, resulting in a species that is highly intelligent in combat but culturally static and lacking in abstract inventive drive.

Hatchlings emerge with fully synchronized arm development. They learn to crawl using a hexapod (insect-like) tripod gait, rapidly building the massive caloric-burning muscle walls required for upright walking.

Motherhood is viewed not as a peaceful retreat, but as a strategic military deployment. A nursing mother's body is the fuel refinery creating the next generation's muscle mass, earning her a distinct, highly respected warrior status.

Parental and elder hierarchies are rooted entirely in the track record of breeding viable killers. Rearing a "weakling" or a child with non-combat interests is viewed as a genetic and disciplinary failure, stigmatizing the mother as a bad warrior and a liability to the tribe.

All of this explains why their species has not evolved over thousands of years. They are stuck in an everlasting combat ready, cull the weak mindset and lifestyle.

Check out my adjustable pricing mod. It's completely free and I don't accept donations.

It lets you actually adjust the prices in game and is completely integrated into natural gameplay. Customers will then react appropriately to your price adjustments with a slight bit of fuzziness to keep things interesting.

https://www.nexusmods.com/retrorewindvideostoresimulator/mods/291

Let me know if you find any bugs should you choose to download it and no I do not accept donations or payments of any kind.

If enough people download and are enjoying it then I'll consider doing updates but for right now I'll only be doing bug fixes. I made this mod for myself and I'm just simply sharing it with everyone else.

Would you like a shadow render fix mod for Bully Scholarship Edition on the Steam version?

I am not a modder nor a game designer. I am simply doing this for my own personal enjoyment in playing the video game. I am not promoting myself in any way and I am not accepting any payments of any kind, including charitable donations.

I just made a mod that improves the shadows by a lot for the Steam port of the Scholarship Edition and I was wondering if you would like me to upload it to Nexus mods.

The problem with it is it's part of my executable that also removes the fog. As such any other mod that replaces the executable would no longer function. But as far as I know the only mods relevant to replacing the executable are mods that try to improve the visual quality of the game.

I'm working on a few other mods to increase render distance and so forth and I'm not even asking for donations. Any mod I release will be completely free. I'm simply doing this for my own personal enjoyment and based on how much work I'm putting into it and the fact that it's actually really good I was wondering if you would want it as well.

My therapist abandoned me for no good reason.

I'm going to start off by saying that if a threat was communicated or physical contact was made in any way that is a good reason to cut a patient loose in my opinion. So before I continue I want to stay very clearly that no threat was made nor was physical contact made.

I recently started seeking help with my mental issues of which I have several. I have a psychiatrist who monitors my medication and recommended that I see a therapist. I was diagnosed with MDD and ADHD. After a few sessions with the therapist, talking about my feelings and revealing myself, she made me unbelievably angry in a way that seemed like it was done on purpose. I'm usually a very well reserved person because I've always operated under the mindset that no one really cares. I admitted to several traumas and had to relive memories that I had long since buried. None of this was easy for me and left me feeling extremely vulnerable. I talked to my therapist about things I have only mentioned to my wife and have not actually talked about with my wife.

I kept telling them that I wasn't depressed I was angry. Angry at so many things but no matter how much I tried to convince them both my psychiatrist and my therapist agreed that I had Major Depressive Disorder. During the last session with the therapist I got angry. She insisted that someone could not feel special, that "special is not a feeling." I said to her with anger but without yelling, That "I refuse to believe someone in your profession cannot look at a person and understand when they feel special." She had a look on her face that I could only describe as distant. After about a minute of silence she ended the session. She ended the session 18 minutes early. I asked her if she was still going to charge for the full hour even though she had me wait 10 minutes in the waiting room and was now ending the session 18 minutes early even though I feel like we still have things to talk about. She said yes.

Two days later I got a phone call from her saying that she can no longer be my therapist and that she recommended another one. The one she recommended was overbooked and couldn't see me for 2 months and only on Wednesdays which I'm not always free on every Wednesday. Clearly her recommendation was not well thought out because she does not in fact have my well-being as a concern of hers.

Our very first appointment, keep in mind that this would be my first appointment with a therapist ever, she canceled. Then our third appointment she also canceled. Then our last session she couldn't separate her emotions from her professional work so much so that she has to abandon a patient that she has diagnosed with depression. If I'm still feeling raw about it I'm going to report her on Monday but I don't know what good that'll do. Hopefully she's not treating the rest of her patients the same way.

GTA VI = Oblivion horse armor

If you don't get it then you're part of the problem

I've been getting over 30 years. $80 and day one DLC is just greedy. Rockstar could have sold their game at 70 dollars a pop and told other gaming companies to go screw themselves and still made over 1.5 billion dollars profit just from sales of the story mode alone. Heck they could have given the game away for free and still made a multi-billion dollar profit just from the online mode.

The fact is if you want to make more money you need to get more fans, not increase your prices. Rockstar has enough fans to justify a $70 release. That's what I would have done and I'd be chilling on my yacht taking a money bath like Mr Krabs.

Rockstar will probably make around $50 per cell after you include shipping fees and and the stores getting their profit at a $70 per copy rate. 59 x 45 million is 2.25 billion

But wait "they spent 1.5 billion making the game." Well maybe your assistances shouldn't have assistances and 8-hour work days should include 8 hours of work. I was a mechanic. I'd do 12 hours of labor in an 8 hour day. It's called being a skilled employee maybe Rockstar employees should give it a try.

I don't know I'm just feeling a certain way about all this nonsense and that's what it is, nonsense. "It's a cartoon." -Stephen Ogg

It's my TV not a billboard. (Roku TVs recent update.)

Roku recently did an update where they separated the TV inputs from the streaming services. The reason why is so they could show you more ads. You have to update the TV in order to use the internet functionality.

I gave them a call and tried to see if there was any way to combine them back but of course there isn't and so I made a recommendation to allow that. They took my recommendation but you could easily tell it's one of those complaint departments where the papers go right into the shredder.

That Idiocracy TV screen is exactly where we're headed.

An easy way to implement rain.

In real life rain is practically invisible unless there's a light shining on it. It more blurs your vision. Some particle effects over the character mimicking the invisible type of rain and then some stationary particle effects over light sources.

Simply have some thick line particle effects and instead of leaving droplets everywhere just max out the characters hydration and leave it there until the rain stops.

I think this idea would be easy to implement and wouldn't tank your frame rate or up the hardware requirements. At least not by much.

Edit: To everyone trying to interject with reality I think you guys are missing the point. It's also highly unrealistic that it would never rain and if it was some kind of drought then all the grass would be dead and the bugs would be gone. Without bugs or grass there is no game.

A drought also means no sprinkler systems.

I've been gaming for 30 years and only in the past year have I noticed how atrocious the draw distance was in older games, and unfortunately to a lesser extent in some modern games.

I'm noticing how obvious and visually unappealing pop in or low draw/render distance is on pretty much every game that I play nowadays no matter what year it was released. Even games that I have a 1,000 hours in and didn't notice this the first time I was playing. Keep in mind this is all stated with maximum graphical settings.

I was discussing it with my wife about how I noticed these kinds of things so much so that when I start playing a new older game I'll end up tapping her on the shoulder and she, without even looking up, says "is it the draw distance again."

Even if the game is brand new poor draw distance is the first thing I noticed. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has some very bad LOD pop in on certain trees. And on the flip side if the game has a really good draw/render distance I appreciate it so much.

I never used to notice these things. I put a couple hundred hours in Hitman Blood Money when I was younger and literally never noticed anything related to the draw distance. (*I had a video related to the draw distance in Blood Money but can't upload it to the subreddit*) But going back and playing it today I noticed small objects like books on a table or candles spawn only 10 ft relative to the player. Like the bushes in GTA San Andreas only spawn about 20ft in front of the player. Street signs, NPCs, street lights, it's insane how small of a draw distance there is.

The NPCs in Final Fantasy 12 is the biggest offender of pop in. One of the selling points was how populated the cities were and how you didn't have to go through a loading screen to enter a battle but sure enough the enemies spawn in front of you like 15 ft away. What's the point of a populated city if you can only see 20 people at a time.

My Fallout New Vegas mod folder consists of 42 mods. 30 of them are directly related to draw/render distance such as adding LODs.

Metal Gear Solid 5, which looks amazing, still has an extremely short draw distance and uses a bunch of visual tricks to make you think it's larger but sure enough you can see things spawning in front of you blatantly. Especially shadows. I got all the achievements in MGS5 when it came out and still never noticed this until about a year ago.

Maybe it's related to the fact that modern gaming has me looking at distant objects so when I go back I'm still looking at the distance objects only they're not there because they haven't loaded. Maybe I'm just bored and back then I played games for fun. Now I do it as kind of like a, I don't know, nostalgia trip not necessarily because I actually want to play it but I just want something to fill my time. I just find myself looking at the distance instead of at the character.

Candy store simulator.

You lure them in with the thought of movies but all they get is cavities.

It's horribly inefficient by the way and not very profitable but I wanted to see if it would work. It does.

Love the Repair Desk but...

Customer: "I really like the movie I rented from here but halfway through it jump cut to the next scene as if though several seconds of the movie was just missing."

Me: *slowly puts a pair of scissors underneath the counter* "That is a weird editing choice on the movie makers part. Can I get you anything else today?"

PSA: The cheat room stopped me from getting my last achievement because of a glitch.

This is important for anyone who wants to get any new achievements the next update might add or any future update might add.

So apparently even if you start a new game it looks at your achievements and auto completes any tasks correlated with your already earned achievements from previous saves. Even if you delete ALL of your user data, like saves, and reinstall the game.

If you use the cheat room, the one you unlock for getting to level 20, before getting 100% of the achievements you get locked out of getting any more achievements on all save files even new game saves.

EVEN IF YOU DELETE ALL OF YOUR SAVE FILES, DELETE ALL OF YOUR USER DATA, UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL THE GAME, AND THEN START A NEW GAME!

I'm going to do some more testing on this and hopefully have good news. For now beware.

Repair station makes me feel weird. Anyone else?

Anyone else not liking how we use scissors to cut a large portion of the film out instead of just re-spooling the tape?

I would love a goal-oriented story mode. Here's my idea.

TLDR: A story mode with a legitimate time progression where the ultimate goal is to buy the video store that you've been leasing with the intent to run it well enough to where even after DVDs kill off VHSs you can still have your nostalgic blast from the past.

I'm sure the developer has big plans for the game, like the ability to adjust prices and more new releases, but right now it's kind of just a chill time waster. The amount of fun I have had in the 20 hours it took to 100% the game has left me wanting. What I would like to see more than anything is a story mode and here's my idea for that.

The story mode would take place over the course of 10 years. The game would start off as normal except you wouldn't own the building and instead would be leasing it. Your first and main goal would be to officially buy the building. Each month you would have to pay the leasing costs which would deduct from the overall cost of the building and you would always have the option to pay the full remaining cost and buy the building instantly.

Until you own the building you would only have the option for the first three expansions and they wouldn't really be expansions but more you would be paying cleaning and repair costs to make those parts of the store operational again. Once you own the building you would then be able to buy the remaining expansions.

This would give the player a clear goal and sense of progression. To prevent a fail state but still provide a penalty for not having the lease money at the end of the month you would be able to take out a bank loan which would have an interest payment of basically costing you 5% of your total earnings at the end of the day until you paid off the bank loan. A mild inconvenience but still something you would want to avoid. You would only be able to take out a bank loan if you were negative money which could only happen when you pay rent.

The game would play largely as it does now except new releases would come out once every 2 weeks instead of 5 days and would stay a new release for 3 weeks. The new releases would try to come out around the same time they did in real life such as Terminator 2 or "X-Terminator 2" coming out in 91, Home Alone 2 coming out in 92 and The Matrix coming out in 99. Of course the story mode could mess around with the timeline a bit like having Aliens or "Xenocat" one two and three coming out in the 90s instead of the '80s.

The story mode would end at the beginning of the year 2000 where you would get a message saying that DVDs are taking over and you can keep running your video store for nostalgia sake but there will be no more new releases on VHS. A heartfelt message stating how the past was great but we should still try to make our future a better place.

Small things like instead of leveling up to unlock new genres when a new release came out it would introduce a new genre. Such as when Home Alone comes out you get the Holiday genre. Of course the level up system can stay this was just an idea I had to make it more in line with the story.

Just my idea on it. Let me know what you guys think. Maybe I'll even try to mod this in some way.

I just did the meteor shower event that was supposed to have plus 80% science fiction rentals and yet I didn't rent a single science fiction film. Literally not one science fiction film.

I had two shelves full of nothing but science fiction even had a little UFO hanging above them and yet not one was rented. I suppose I could have just got some really bad RNG but that doesn't seem likely.

Anyone else experiencing this?
