Ling-Ling was a panda who lived in the Smithsonian National Zoo from 1972 to 1992. She and her partner, Hsing-Hsing, were gifted to the United States from China following President Nixon’s visit to China in 1972.
I’m considering buying an entertainment center off of Facebook Marketplace to save some money. But I’m so worried about bringing bed bugs in with used furniture!
I know that bedbugs generally stay on beds and couches, but I also know they have their ways of slipping into cracks in anything. How likely is it that I would bring bedbugs in on a wooden entertainment center?
I still remember the smell of the lotion I got from the American Girl realbeauty line!
Hello! I’ve got five postcards up for grabs! Let me know what you would do on an ideal day in Cape Cod!
My ideal day would be to go seal watching in the morning, get some fish and chips by the water, and visit the maritime museum in the afternoon.
I made blue cheese sauce for my waffle fries and it came out looking grey and clumpy. Tasted decent, though!
Playful_ Foundation_5: I love, love, love the vintage card you sent me! The bright colors and bumblebees are adorable! It’s not super green on my (eastern) side of the state, but the west side is soooo green!
Ok_Theme7072: Thank you for the Massachusetts postcard! I didn’t know basketball was invented in MA! My hometown is BIG on basketball. Spokane hosts the world’s largest 3-on-3 basketball tournament in the world every summer!
Eastern-Witch829: Thank you your the North Carolina postcard! I’ve never visited your state but it looks so pretty! Someday I’ll take a roadtrip to the south. I hope you had an amazing day at the beach!
ELLEEB8: Thank you for the Budweiser postcard! I love the Dalmatian! My cats also express their love by screaming at me, lol.
I got this pamphlet in a BIG stack of 1980s and 1990s postcards I bought at the thrift store.
Hello, all! I have 6 Virginia City, Montana postcards from the 1980s and 1990s available. Let me know where/what you would most like to visit in Montana. Glacier National Park is my favorite!
I can tell it’s time to visit my stylist again because my hair felt so uncomfortably thick today that it made me gag. Even putting it in a ponytail did not work because it didn’t feel right. I cannot wait to get my hair thinned out again soon!
I love this coloring book by Lulu Mayo! I enjoy adding stickers to my finished pages for an extra ✨sparkle✨
We were in our way to my wedding dress fitting appointment (I’m getting married in October!). The seamstress was so lovely and chatted with us the whole time. We had a lovely brunch at a Scandinavian restaurant afterwards and I had a cinnamon coffee. My bestie and I also went to the reptile store and gushed over the cute Uromastyx lizards and itty bitty snakes. And that was just the beginning of one of the best Saturdays I’ve had in awhile!
I will tag my thank you’s in the comments.
no-zebra-9339: I enjoyed learning about Lakshmi Bai and Polly Bemis. That’s so cool that you have a history degree! Rebel women rock!!!
sneaker lambs: I love the frog postcard you sent me! Frogs are one of my favorite animals. I’ve never visited Indiana, but if I do, I’ll definitely visit Brown County!
SignalWriting8859: Thank you for the Kiki’s Delivery Service Postcard! I love how hyped Kiki’s friends are for her to begin her witch journey! I’m glad you had a pleasant weekend!
bananas3706: Thank you for the vintage Spain postcard! The postcard show you went to sounds so cool! I get my postcards from local thrift and vintage stores.
Hello!
I’ve already posted on a wedding group on Facebook, but I thought I would also try this subreddit.
I’ll be getting married in October and I am looking for a makeup artist, hair stylist, florist, and DJ. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thank you in advance!
