How hard is it to solo every monster?

For context- I played rise and had a lot of fun, and since the only device I can really play games on is my switch, I decided to get GU on it. I hunted all the monsters in rise and had a lot of fun doing so, and I wanted to do the same in GU.

Problem is, I really don't want to buy the Nintendo switch online subscription bcs a subscription to play online is absurd to me. I also severely lack irl friends that play monster hunter so I can't play local multi.

Risebreak scales depending on the player count but I don't think GU does, and also I know Alatreon's in this game and that he's apparently very hard to beat solo. I'm not exactly very good at monster hunter but I beat risen shaggy so i'm not that bad either.

Please tell me if there are any monsters that are particularly hard to solo, so I can prepare accordingly, tho I'm still in the village so it's not for rn lmao.

How do I unlock the 2 star village quests ?

New player here, GU is my second monster hunter game and I did all the 1 star village quests but it didn't give me an urgent quest to get to 2 stars.

Do I have to do the training quests too? Or is there another requirement ?

This game is amazing (full game spoilers)

Preface: this is just a monologue I'm writing rn, I just finished the game so maybe I don't have the most objective opinion lmao.

I'm a big fan of metroidvanias, and I really love the way MIO used the classic formula. From the movement upgrades which are really fun to use, especially the hairpin and whatever the target system is called which are awesome in combat, especially for like groups of enemies.

Also, very good setting, and attaching characters. Mel and the scrapling's storyline was very engaging, and while I took a while to get that interested in the storyline (I was too busy having fun with the rest of the game), the sequence with the Heart at the end of the Shii ending was really emotional.

I also think Samsk would be an amazing friend.

The artstyle and general look of the game is perfect, I don't have anything bad to say about the graphics tbh, except the fact the names of places aren't displayed on the map. The designs are really good, from the places to the characters, everything is beautiful.

The game mechanics are surprisingly refreshing, and the platforming fun and fleshed out, all the abilities work in synergy and I like that.

Also it's a french game so that's obviously another point because the only french studio that's famous internationally is Ubisoft, which hasn't been a great look on us so far.

Help needed for missed spots on the map (minor spoilers ig)

It's the spot with the marker on it.

Yes, I know I didn't take a screenshot but I don't have access to my computer rn and I play on switch so it's the best I can do.

Also some pointers on where do I have to go to explore the heart's sanctum fully.

I have all the movement upgrades btw, and thanks for the help in advance.

What to say instead of "jesus" and "oh god"

So I'm not a native English speaker and my vocabulary isn't very extensive, so the only exclamations I know are either christian ones or derivations of "fuck"/"shit". So if you know other exclamations I'd be delighted.

Need help with crow (spoilers for early game)

So I recently started my first playthrough of MIO and I'm having a great time, but I was struggling a bit with crow, feeling like I almost never had a safe punish window, which felt weird because the other bosses/mini bosses I fought didn't feel like that at all.

So I went to see a youtube vidéo of someone fighting him to see if I was missing something and apparently I missed a "block" ability.

Idk what it's actually called but I don't really know how to get it, so if someone could give me a general direction of where to look for it it'd be great.

Are Sebastian and Rupert Lowe related?

So I'm not British but i see that you guys have a politician and a musician with the same last name, ages that look like they could be son and father and also they kinda look alike. So I just wanted to know if they're related, and if they are, it's very funny.

B2 Third Sin DLC spoilers ahead

Just started a new save on B2 to try out the new DLC, and I gotta say, Blasphemous : Symphony of the night edition is great. I'm loving the whip a lot more than mea culpa in this game, but that might also just be because I really like ruego al alba and veredicto not so much.

I can't wait for a third dlc weapon to replace Sarmiento & Centella.

How to safely handle beetles?

Since the heatwave has finally calmed down and I moved in the countryside, I now enjoy nice forest walks, and I always see really cool (and big) beetles, and I'd really like to handle them but I feel like they're not gonna be very happy if I just grab them, and I don't want to risk hurting them. So how could I get them to be calm and on my hand, and is it even possible for wild beetles? Oh and also can stag beetles hurt people? I feel like their mandibles are probably not that strong but i might be wrong, beetles get big after all.

I need help for ending C on my second play through. (Spoilers)

So I played B1&2 back to back a few months ago, both on mostly blind playthroughs. I'm pretty sure I got the bad endings for both, and I wanted to get the other endings. So I started B1 again yesterday after like six months of not playing and I wanted to find the way to the ending C by paying more attention to the lore and story (which I honestly didn't pay much attention to in my first playthrough). But now I have the first visage, and the only thing I can think of is to dismiss the lady that wants to help me beat the bosses because no help = more penitence. Deogracias also gave me a thorn but I have absolutely no idea what to do with it but it's probably important.

I want to try out GS

Risebreak is my first monhun and I'm more used to high mobility weapons like SnS, IG or DB. Also a big hammer and lance enjoyer, and GS looks really cool so I wanted to try it out. I'm currently making a build for it with WEX, crit boost, focus and frostcraft, and some earplugs and wind resistance so that I don't get stopped mid attack because I'm too close to the monster.

So far I've been mostly getting hit and missing my TCS so if you guys have any tips that'd be great.

I'm about MR120 and AR 120 too.

Rare drops on risen elders

So I js got 2 kushala risegems and I wanted to know how rare it is, since it's a quest reward and there's one guaranteed.

Is there a luck mechanic for scripted quest rewards?

No more snails in my yard

So I have a small yard, and I grow food in it, so there's always been MANY gastropods, and I love them all, but they want to eat my veggies at night and since I have to stay up pretty late anyways I usually go out at night for a bit, gently pick up all these silly little animals and put them a bit farther away in my yard, with a few cucumber slices/ other little treats from time to time.

Usually I pick up anywhere between 30 to 50 gastropods in my garden, and even though slugs aren't very friendly, I still got attached (though I prefer the snails). But both last night and right now (it's midnight here and I'm outside) I've only managed to find a single snail in my whole yard. Not even a single slug (who are usually pretty much everywhere).

The temperatures have been rising and the days have been drier but I don't know if it's that or me handling them so frequently. I've been very careful while handling them and did so as little as possible but I frankly don't know much about gastropods.

It might also be a predator but I haven't seen anything that would eat or kill them since about two weeks ago when two big léopard slugs invited themselves into my yard.

I've been careful to not kill or cut most of the plants I see them eating too.

Please help me I'm starting to miss my slimy friends

I love lance

maybe Malzeno was tired of all the fighting and wanted the sweet release of death from a lance through his heart.

Still mad there's no bazelgeuse hammer

I really like bazel, and seething bazel, I love their armor in rise and their weapons, and I really like using blast. Also, hunting bazel with my hammer is really satisfying, and I want a bazel hammer so bad I'm learning hunting horn so I can bonk monsters with a bazel weapon anyways.

Plus the palico and palamute bazel weapons ARE BOTH HAMMERS.

Please Capcom, let me blast away monsters with a lion's head on a stick.

When am I supposed to fight primordial malzeno and how can I fight scorned magnamalo?

So I got the primordial malzeno urgent quest A WHILE AGO and yet I still can't beat him at all. Probably a good part of skill issue but then I tried to look up when I should fight him and apparently (I don't remember where I got that info from tbh but probably the wiki or smth) PriMal is the hardest monster in the game, and is meant to be fought at MR200. I'm about MR90 and since usually urgent quests unlock the next difficulty of content, I'm guessing I have to beat PriMal to get access to risen elders and scorned magnamalo. There are even quests with scorned magnamalo but they either have PriMal in them too or another scorned magnamalo. I don't have the switch online subscription so I play solo btw.

I wanted to know if there's something else I'm missing or if I'm supposed to grind anomalies until MR200.

I'd really wanna beat PriMal with scorned SnS or Cblade because I bet they look awesome and are strong. Also I love playing blast.
