I got to play Montgomery National Golf Club in Minnesota. It's a Beatles themed course where every whole is named after a song 18 is Yellow Submarine

I went to the KPMG Women's PGA Championship at Hazeltine, and it was great!

As many have said here, attending a women's tournament is a totally different dynamic. Nobody yelling stupid stuff, no drunk guys, and lots of respectful people. We have the 3M Open here in July, and I'll be watching it on TV instead of at TPC Twin Cities.

Some unfortunate bird left some feathers behind. Any ideas? I'm thinking Downy Woodpecker. (MN USA)

Trying to play golf on Father's Day is equivalent to trying to get brunch on Mother's Day. Everyone seems to think they're the only one with the idea, and it ends up taking forever.

Don't get me wrong, spending time with your mom or dad should be fun, but these two things (in my experience) seem to bring more stress in the moment. If you do end up playing this Sunday, I hope you have fun. I'll be playing on Monday.

Common Snapping Turtle I saw in Minnesota

I was walking along a trail at a local park with lakes and ponds, and came across this fine specimen on the edge of the walking trail. It was the first Snapping Turtle I have ever encountered!
