Even after using the eye drops prescribed by an eye doctor for two weeks, the itching and pricking sensation in my left eye has continued for over a month

​I have a problem with itching and a pricking sensation in my left eye. I had taken eye drops prescribed by an eye doctor. Even after using the eye drops for two weeks, the problem of itching and the pricking sensation in my left eye was not cured. This itching and pricking sensation in my left eye has continued for over a month.

​Does anyone else have an eye problem where they have itching and a pricking sensation in the eye, and it has continued for more than a month even after using eye drops prescribed by an eye doctor ?
