Did a little photo shoot now that most of the bugs are worked out. It really is a very reliable ride now, and I’m having a blast on it. 🙌🏻. Also loving the M-Unit Blue and its automatic logbook.
My family, and two others got a house for the weekend in downtown Indianapolis. We all have kids 8-10 ish. Other than the children’s museum, what fun stuff should we try to see?

Update:
So, I had previously been chasing down a low oil pressure light coming on intermittently while riding and coming on and staying on while sitting with hot engine running. (I did two things to correct this.). Replaced my oil pressure switch and added a little oil bringing the amount right up to the top of the dip stick. Fixed the low pressure light from coming on but this is when I really noticed the bike not shifting great.
I decided today to drain a bit of the oil leaving the level right at 3/4 of the dip stick. Took a 54min ride with no oil pressure problems and the bike shifted quite a bit better.
Recently rebuilt CB550. Bike runs better than it ever did before rebuild. Pulls great through all the gears up and through 90mph. Bike down shifts great through all gears as long as I do it while slowing to a stop. If I have to stop quickly and don’t have a chance to down shift through the gears I can’t get it to down shift or get it into neutral. I basically have to gas it out of the hole in second or third till I can smoothly downshift back through each gear to get back to first.
Is this a common problem? What should I try.
I’m using the Shell Rotella T4 15W-40 semi synthetic oil.
Should I go back to conventional 10W-40?
What a beautiful day for the DGR! #ChelseaMotorworks built my bike. She had me do two days of shake down prior to the ride, then plopped it in the back of my pickup for the drive home. Love you Steph!!!
Went from a linoleum floor and a wire rack to three cabinets, a bench, cubbies, hooks, and Italian tile floor. Loving the new Mail Drop so it doesn’t all end up on the kitchen island. Used IKEA cabinets and connected them with home made cubbies. Love this IKEA Green.
