A change of WFH scenery.

I WFH and a fulltime, distance tertiary educator, living in Melbourne, Australia. My job allows me to work from anywhere, as long as I have excellent WIFI for student Teams session and usual LMS requirements. I'm in my early 60s and looking at easing out of FT work within 18 months.

I'd appreciate your ideas on relocating potentially OS as a change of scenery and switching things up into retirement. I don't own property, have a reliable yearly supplementary income of $50k and $250k in Super. Appreciate your ideas.

I met my first random soul and it has truly amazed me...

Today, I attempted to invoke my mum to just casually speak with her. At the start, I could feel it wasn't her. I gently asked about who it was, and the spirit introduced herself as 'Jennifer'. She and I, she confirmed, hadn't met in this life, which truly stunned me. This was my first, random spirit.

Jennifer was 52 when she died from cancer. She was reaching out to me because she was 'sad'. She found me because, 'You are a good man'. Hearing that floored me. She later said that she was married with two kids. I asked her how I could help her happiness, and she suggested music. So, I played my 'Liked' music on random select and a song I've never heard played, called 'Passion Femme'. I later contacted Mum, who said that the best thing I can do for Jen, was to pray for her happiness. I hope that helps her pass through to eternal love.

After 30 years of abuse, I created something peaceful...

I built a family home, knowing it was built on sand. I built it to show my children what they could do. Inevitably, that dream was lost to narcissism. Still, I did the right thing and stayed to protect and nurture the kids. I now live alone in a much smaller space that I rent. I was never allowed to hang art, now my walls are full of it. I'll probably never have another 'partner', the damage was done. But at 60, I can now have something more precious than a mansion built on sand..., I can build a space of calm, restoration and peace. I think I deserve it.

Edit - You people are beautiful. Thanks for all your kind, warm support. It means a lot to a guy sitting on a couch by himself where a whole family used to be. Also, I acknowledge the guys on here who have nothing. I was there too. I am privileged and know not everyone starting again has my privilege. But I came from choldhood poverty and abuse, so I guess my post is about staying the course, surrounding yourself with beauty, whatever that is for you, and using your space to heal. Love to all my brothers who tread the harsh, difficult path.

A Solstice Experience

So, I'm in Australia. Last night I had trouble sleeping. But it came into my mind to have a fire in my fire pit. I got up, got a fire going, then suddenly had this need to pray. So, I did a spiritual invocation of thanks for the elements of fire, air, water etc. I loved it. I headed inside, hit the socials and was presented pages celebrating Solstice today with bonfires.

I had absolutely no idea it was Solstice.

Amazing how spirit guides us in our least aware states.

The love affair continues.

I've always loved choc/orange, choc/mint and choc/cherry flavours. Well, I got this today and it absolutely doesn't disappoint.

My Spirit Guardians are now manifesting in the most beautiful ways.

I often ask spirits to manifest in my home. I live alone, so I can talk to them out loud and expressively.

A few weeks ago, as I cleaned my kitchen, I was thinking about my brother who died too early from MND/ALS. He has reached out to me and has assigned himself to the tasks of making me laugh. He does an awesome job. As I thought about him, water splashed onto the window sill. The water formed a smiley face with its tongue poking out. Its his way of reminding me he's right there with me.

My (very expensive) collection.

I never really knew anything about olive oil, until my beautiful Italian friend took me to her family's renowned Italian restaurant in Melbourne. When they served warm foccacia with three small bowls of olive oil, salt flakes and balsamic vinegar, the oil punched me square in the face. I had never really tasted an oil so beautiful. Grassy, fruity and this pepper that grabbed the back of my throat like a mob boss. They gave me a litre of their branded oil and life hasn't been the same since. I don't cook with this. I either drink it neat or with sourdough bread. The bottles in the picture cost me close to $700, but I know guys who buy a single bottle of single malt whiskey for more, and who's life expectancy diminishes quicker than mine after every bottle.

I woke up, went to my kitchen, had a cup of water, and the water splashed. My step-brother was a joker. We were close. He died 4 years ago. In my medium sessions, he broke in to let me know he's with me. He had a magic SOH and his role in my life is to provide humour and make me laugh.

I can't post the photo here, but the water splash created a perfect smiley face, with it's tongue poking out.

They are here. They are with you. They love you. Stay open to their presence.

I'd love to hear your experiences of a pet communicating with you. I have my beautiful Border x Lab actually talking to me and calling me, 'Dad' 🥲

I spent a night last night solo camping. I love getting out under a clear, night's sky whenever I get the chance. It was during such a night in the northern tablelands of New South Wales here in Australia, that I had an experience with a UAP only 6 months after my first, direct physical engagement with NHI in my home. Last year, I sat on my rear deck and watched about a dozen lights in the night sky speed and dance around. Having bought a satellite and celestial tracker, was in the Air Force for 29 years and a pilot, I'd worked out what obeys the natural laws, and what doesn't. So, last night, I sat and watched the night sky unfurl above me with the Milky Way putting on a celestial disco for those that were interested.

As I watched, I saw them again. Three objects defying natural laws. I felt like yelling out to several other campers around me, but this phenomenon is poorly understood by the majority, so I sat and smiled at their display.

They are getting bolder. As if they are daring us to accept their reality. I just wish others would look up at the night sky with far more curiosity.
