The Love Lab on Netflix!

How have I JUST seen this? I know it’s only been a few weeks but I’m chronically online and always watching everything.
I’ve only watched Singles Inferno in terms of dating reality shows, and ik it’s for clout instead of serious dating.

In this one, I’ve only seen one couple so far but they’re growing on me and I can see by their interviews that they’re both very deep in terms of how they think and perceive things. Also I like how they honestly seem like they want to find someone new to form a connection with. I hope they end up together!!

One thing I will say though, I don’t like the panelists. Like seriously, with singles inferno the MC input is so funny and adds to the fun, but these two are terrible. So I just skip it. But the show itself is fun. 🤩

Edit: sorry let me rephrase. I like both panelists, BUT I think the story and I relationship of their growing relationship shine WITHOUT any commentary until the end.

Do PinchMe’s bonus deals/items ever really work?

PinchMe is the least consistent one I use, but I recently saw people posting their new boxes so I just got it again.
Wondering if the “play games to win” and things like Amazon gift cards under bonus entries are… real? Basically?

My blood pressure is rising watching the game right now

First they bench their star player Sonny.
Then the first thirty minutes they pass the ball to the other team. They don’t know how to pass the ball.
I don’t like to curse but I literally have nothing good to say about our team right now. WHAT ARE YOU DOING omg.

Edit: embarrassed as a Korean. Smh

Do yall apply the gel x tips right by the base or do you leave some space?

Just curious bc my base is a bit thinner than the middle of the nail, so the aprés tips I use are too thick and hurt my cuticle.

I wanted to try gluing them down maybe 1/3 down from the cuticle/base and buff down and then use builder gel to “connect” to my natural nail but I’m just curious how many ppl actually do this. It seems like more work but maybe a more flawless finish? Especially when it grows out!

Unpopular opinion: I love misunderstandings

I always see people ask for recommendations and almost every single time it asks for no misunderstandings.
So while I respect everyone’s preferences, I’m here to say misunderstandings are misunderstood 😌

First of all, yes, I LOVE a fluffy drama too. But all love and sunshine is frankly boring, and you need something, whether it’s a difficulty or argument, to help the relationship grow and add drama— literally called a DRAMA. The feeling of “keeps me on my toes” is such a necessity in a lot of shows, because there’s anticipation for the following scenes. Please don’t hate me, but the epitome of a no misunderstanding and bland drama was Love Me Love My Voice. I love the leads but I was just so bored.

Also, it really helps build a character dynamic. I get that we feel frustrated when certain characters just don’t explain a situation properly, or turn a blind eye to things that only make them internally frustrated and thus more prone to illogical arguments. But most of the time, it’s because of inner issues like a lack of self confidence or not wanting to seem obsessive. I love when cdramas show this because I can relate to them more and therefore find a show more entertaining. It shows them having a more relatable personality.

Then, the clearing of the misunderstanding is my favorite. It has to be within a reasonable time frame of course. The characters have epiphanies and their bond grows even deeper. Mistakes are forgiven, truths are revealed, and their love is even greater. All the pent up frustration we feel as an audience is given that breath of fresh air, and all the heartache was worth it. Sigh of relief.

I’ve watched MANY MANY dramas from all countries, and I too am a sucker for a healing and positively emotional masterpiece. Almost all of the good ones still have the leads encountering hardships and obstacles in their relationship. But having only smiles and happy scenes lacks a dynamic plot and diverse world of the characters.

Just my two cents 🥰

Is focaccia better with yeast or starter

I have starter. But I made a nice simple rosemary focaccia with yeast. Wondering if it'll taste better with starter instead.

How’s my focaccia? Honestly.

First time making focaccia, as I love baking but with all things not involving yeast.

Edges came out thinner than the middle, after spreading out on my sheet, not sure if I needed to use a smaller pan?

Best base routine before foundation?

I know they say to always moisturize before starting your makeup routine, but sometimes it just doesn’t turn out as “clean” and sometimes becomes almost cakey looking, even though I go very thin layers of foundation.

Does anyone use a specific type of skincare product, like a face serum or exfoliator before moisturizer…
In my late 20s but still have trouble applying makeup, and havent really found my go to routine yet unfortunately.

Favorite "Touch HIM and you die" scene?

Or a really good "touch HER and you die" I guess, but that's a lot more common. Are there any you are obsessed with?!

Maybe it'll help me find a new watch!

First time at World Market... what do I buy?

I hear people rave about this market, but the one time I briefly went inside, I just walked back out. It's been a while so basically tomorrow will be my "first" time actually looking around.

What does everyone buy? Snacks? Cooking ingredients?

Best salad dressing for that “fresh” taste?

I’ve been using an avocado crema sort of dressing lately, and I want something new. Anything fresh tasting… like maybe tangy and not cream based? Or honestly anything you’d like to recommend.

Before this one I always made a vinaigrette but I always use twice the vinegar and half the olive oil most recipes call for.

Has diet changed your hair at all?

Even nutritional supplements… I’m obviously not looking for instantaneous even though that sounds amazing…

Has cutting or adding anything from your diet helped your hair health?
