As someone who has been a doja cat fan since her viral MOOO music video I saw on youtube in 2018. And as someone who has BPD like doja it truly makes me sad that I saw doja being praised as one of the greats in the beginning of her career. Just to get trashed by not only people on social media but her fanbase in the past 3 years. The quality of her music didnt go down scarlet and VIE are both great albums that showed her rapping and singing skills off the best. But since she was honest about how overwhelmed she was during the scarlet era people started critizing every little thing she did, was made fun of for shaving her head, spread rumors that she was some "racist" because of her dating prefences and tiktok rumors. Even when shes being more "normal" to the public eye shes still not supported because the fanbase only likes her in one font. During scarlet people were scared of her and during VIE era the fanbase thinks shes playing it " safe" and shes "boring". You dont understand what this does to someone who has BPD to be praised then trashed years later and be replaced like your art didnt matter. I know people are going to call me "parasocial" but i dont care im truly sad for my BPD sister who is more talented than 90% of these new mid artists that they keep jamming down our throats!!.. I hope she comes back stronger after the tour but I hate she has to do this 🥹😥 her break is also being made fun of as a "gotcha moment" online as if this is some "karma" 🙄
I know people are going to be fan girling knowing that its supposed to sound like planet her. I dont care if it sounds nothing like planet her we need this deluxe or EP before her USA tour leg do you think were getting it this summer? lol

Don’t get me wrong Doja can sing her ass off she has great vocal range. But me and my boyfriend think her rapping is better. She has such a raspy sexy rap voice and her wordplay and rap delivery is unmatched. I think that’s why scarlet did better commercially than VIE despite the backlash during that era. I love VIE as well but scarlet & hot pink show off her rapping abilities better and brings out her personality more. I think she thrives as a rapper more than a singer and needs to get back in her rap bag for her next project anyone else agree ?

I’ve seen plenty of American Cities that aren’t selling well. Even though Doja is an American lol it seems like the international fans are selling out her shows and giving her the love she deserves. But as someone who missed the scarlet tour and never seen her live I’d hate myself forever if she had to cancel due to you Americans not buying her tickets . I have two tickets to two different USA shows and I’d hate these to go to waste because you guys refuse to support Doja . I do wish she would put out a deluxe or an EP instead of goofing off on twitch. She needs focus on music because her fanbase is so flakey 😩🫠
