Bad Day
Beef tallow and sea salt roasted smashed mini potatoes. Need carbs. Bad day.
EDIT: They look so much better in person! Stupid flash.

Only because I can't attach a pic on the OG post for some reason. Isn't it glorious!
I just cancelled my upcoming trip to Bon Echo due to illness. So if anyone's interested, here are the details:
Site # 616 (Cabin)
Dates: October 18-23
EDIT: I'm not selling the booking, I just want anyone to know that the site is now available on the website.

EDIT2: It was just reminded this is a cabin. We chose this one simply because it had amazing views over the lake. I just checked and it's still available.
.....but I found it unnecessarily boorish and lazy. I only made it through 3/4 of the first episode before bailing, I didn't laugh once and found the whole thing humourless. Gervais is on Twitter at the moment accusing people who didn't like the show of hating it because they were offended. Personally, the only offensive thing about Alley Cats was precisely how unfunny it was.
Gervais is now a combination of Andy Millman from Extras and Finchy from The Office; a one trick pony who feels the only way he can get laughs these days is by punching down.
EDITED: To Finchy from Frenchy.
Nash doesn't seem to get the props here that he should.
I moved to Canada in 1987 and had heard of NtS through the Smash Hits flexi and his support of Gary Numan in 1980/81. I got to see him in Hamilton, Ontario several times right up to his death in 2014.
He's a true Post Punk hero and I'm so please I got to meet him and see him perform multiple times.
Found in a thrift store in Cambellford, Ontario for $5 CAD. Never seen it in the wild before!
Happy days!
Where am going to get my samosas from now?!
I must admit that I'm perhaps a bigger fan of Foxx era Ultravox! but this is still a banger. I remember when it was released and I cycled the 19 miles from home to the nearest major record store to buy it on the first Saturday of release. I had already bought Sleep Walk on spec and although I didn't particularly like it, it was intriguing enough to make me want to check out the album. This is the remastered 40th anniversary edition double vinyl, which I believe is 1/2 speed mastered. I've also got the 4 slab transparent edition which is stunning just to look at. Anyhow, it's time for a nostalgic listen and an 80s style flailing around the living room.....
